Recommended garden oasis

Lovely place, hidden oasis in the city of Sens with a garden. Highly recommended, we would book it again without hesitation. We appreciated the flexible check-in, the (optional) breakfast in the beautiful garden, our kids playing with the little chicken, even a pool was available to us.

We did not have time for breakfast. Very comfortable and large rooms - perfect for a family. Very friendly host.

Excellent and owners friendly.

We were welcome in the most nice way. The lady onwer carried our lugguage and understood we were tired and after the initial chatter, she lets us be. The large beautifully decorated in the Art Nouveau style and done with taste was pleasing. The small bathroom toilet shower area was funtional and lit automatically when on entering the area. TV, small fridge, and microwave area for making tea and coffee with the proper equipment did not interfer with the style of the room. The beds were comfortable. They have some breed hens and cockels. It was a joy for me to see them roming free. Loved it! We could not have asked for more.

Absolutely nothing! The only problen was the tar smell which was totally independant of the host, the road in front of the building was being tarmac.

The house is perfect for a family, with children. Rustic and modern combined with great taste, and with a beautiful garden where the chickens run free among the peral trees. The breakfast are also good and it is very comfortable to take it in the apartment. It was a pleasure dealing with Emilie.

A very pleasant stay, private locked car park & easy walking distance of the town centre & shops

Breakfast was a typical continental one, served in our room at the time that we had agreed. The bread & croissants were fresh & plenty of jam - it was fine

We would have preferred slightly firmer, rectangular pillows, but we were in France !

Excellent studio type room. Perfect for us as a family Of 4 with 2 kids. The place was nicely decorated with taste. Our hosts were super friendly and have a clear passion for history and antiques ! They shared their passion with us. It was a pleasure meeting them. The garden and its playground and chicken was a plus for the kids. The center of town is 5 minutes away. Great quiet and peace espace in the city

Love the design, the posters and the bed was very comfy! Had a great sleep! The location was very nice! Will definitely recommend it.

Very friendly reception, and a excellent location. The (small) suite was very lovely arranged, and the breakfast, which was brought to the room, was more than fantastic! I will certainly come back, also because Sens is a very friendly town, with lots to explore and see: very nice cathedral, nice, old center, and a amazing treasury of the cathedral, of of the richest of France!

Great and spacious stay with all the comfort for one or more nights.

We were super happy with this great place. It's like a green escape from town. Hidden behind a big gate was a wonderful garden with trees and flowers and some chicken (!). The car could be parked in the garden. Our suite had two double beds (for four people - one in the main room, one in a separte room) and was very noble. The owner arranged the room with great taste and humor, beautiful books, old and new furniture and created a creative and beautiful space. There was a fridge, a water cooker and a nespresso. We only stayed for one night, but intend to come back. The house is close two the center (5 min by feet) and the host so friendly, warm and helpful. Our Breakfirst was delicous with fresh pressed orange juice, croissants, coffee and many more.

A perfect place for a stay in Sens ♥

We really liked this apartment for our stay in Sens. It was cozy and personell, nicely decorated, big plus for the comfy beds and pillows and the big shower! :-) The host was very friendly ♥ The outdoor garden was very nice, and just 7 minutes walk to the center and the Cathedral. We will absolute book this place again if we return to Sens! ♥

We had expectations based on what we read about the place. They were not met.

Short way to restaurants and bars, though many were closed, so we ended up with kebab on a Turkish fast food place. The host is a funny and nice lady. We parked the car on private (muddy) area.

First of all, the accommodation was hard to find. Using GPS we found the place, and parked only 10 meters from the door. But no sign. No easy to spot street address, door sign or door bell. Had to use Google Maps again. It pointed correctly to the spot we were. Had to call host. Host adverised this as a Deluxe King Suite. That is an exaggeration. We cannot see such style or facilities. The accommodation was advertised with 2 bedrooms, the alternative rooms at same host had none. So we expected this to have 2 bedrooms in addition to the "living room", and that's the reason why we choosed it. It has only one bedroom in addition to the "living room". View into the "garden" with trash and disorder. If you are shy, you may not like the bathroom. Recycled glass door to the toilet (toilet which was incorrectly mounted too high on the wall). Transparent window in the shower, where you could look out on the public street (and look in) when the car port was open. Breakfast was disappoining. Something to bite in and jam. Only 2 dl of orange juice to share by 3 thirsty adults.

Une nuit apaisante dans un cadre rétro très sympathique

Nous n’avons pas pris de petit-déjeuner. L’appartement est très bien situé à quelques minutes à pied du centre ville. Il est vaste et lumineux et donne sur un agréable jardin où caquettent poules et coqs.

L'endroit est idéalement situé, non loin du centre ville, proche des restaurants. Tout peut être fait à pied. Parking privé devant le logement. La propriétaire est très sympathique et disponible. Le logement est vraiment spacieux et très bien aménagé. Beaucoup d'objets chinés de très bon goût.
