What a gem! Perfect hotel for cyclists - every little detail thought of - bike storage, workshop etc. High quality restaurant, excellent breakfast and most importantly great coffee! Luca and the team looked after us really well after a long day crossing the Furka and Nufenen passes. Bravissimo!

Based on our experience I highly recommend this B&B.

Such a gem of a B&B. The room was very comfortable and clean with stunning mountain views. Given our travel schedule we could only stayed two nights, I could have stayed longer. The food was exceptional and we appreciated the hospitality of the couple who could not have been better hosts.

Amazing place with super friendly owner Luca! We have been here over the New Year's eve and had incredible dinner (self prepared fois gras, home made smoked salmon, local cheese etc.). Beside that our room was very clean and comfortable. Highly recommend!

Wonderful room, extremely clean and comfortable. Cotten sheets on comfortable beds. Some of the best food we had in our four month journey. Very gracious and helpful hosts! Storage room for the bikes. Absolutely would return!

The rooms were very clean and the hotel was close to the Gotthard pass.

We had high expectations from this place due to the good reviews, however we ended up to be very disappointed. The beds were very narrow and uncomfortable to sleep in. There is very limited parking facility and the breakfast was rather poor (we ended up going to a bakery close by). Furthermore, the staff was very rude after we told them we didn't want to take breakfast. The worst of the hotel is that it is located next to a church which rings its bells twice at every hour for a couple of minutes and then once every half hour, and this for the full night. It was just impossible to sleep. The place is way overpriced, even for Swiss standards.

Charming hotel with an excellent restaurant

Small and comfortable hotel. The owner and the staff were very service minded and friendly. The food in the restaurant was excellent!

The town church is close by and the church bells also chime at night. Bring some ear plugs, if you are easily disturbed, and it will be no problem to sleep.

Good location. Remodelled rooms. Good bicycle storage facilities with workshop available.

Car parking 200m away. Room was expensive, and breakfast was extra. For the cost of the room, could easily include a light breakfast. Stairs....dont bring heavy luggage!

Windows are pretty much nonexistent I.e. it feels as if the churchbells ring in the room and cars drive through it…. The pillows are a bit uncomfy.

Overall we were very happy with our stay. Just want to note that there is a village bell tower across the street that rings on the hour 24 hours a day. So if possible ask for room facing back or pack ear plugs. Accommodations, service and beds are excellent.

Best option in Airolo!

Very nice small B2B in Airolo. It has only few rooms and you can see that the owners care about the details, and making you feel good. There is a very nice bike storage room and Wifi works impeccably. Gluten and lactose free options were provided at breakfast and the owners were very supportive. The restaurant menu in the evening is limited, but the restaurant is part of the Slow Food movement, where mostly regional ingredients are used.

The overall price vs. quality seemed a bit high, but it is simply Swiss standard.

Cozy and intimate

Attentive owners and very friendly, the hotel has been renovated recently so everything is brand New and furnished with taste. Wooden Floors are amazing. Bathrooms big and room spacious. Breakfast was good too and even the Eggs came with a touch of creativity in its Presentation. All the greens come from Their vegetable garden. Food at dinner was tasteful but remember to order special dinner set menus( by that it means gastronomic menus) BEFOREHAND! Otherwise it’s the regular familiar plates.

Nothing about the property other than it’s proximity to the church - meaning that the bell 🔔 ( you are in Switzerland!) Tolls EVERY single hour -24/7… and Even twice as there’s another church nearby. So i had a bit of a disruptive sleep…

Perfect cyclist spot to refill batteries before leaving for next pass or Ticino touring

Great experience coming from Nufenen and heading for Gotthard next morning. L'albergo is a perfect stay for cyclist, the owner is bike crazy. Fully equipped workbench for any small or big trouble, tyres available. Plus the dinner is just amazing, to find 15points Gault Millau in such a place. Everybody extremely friendly and forthcoming. Grazie mille, la giornata era ottima!

Perfect location for a hiking tour

Superb atmosphere in this modern renovation. Staff is impeccable and the chef would even prepare the best sandwiches ever for your hike if you ask! We hope to be back some day soon.
