One-of-a-kind apartments — a stay here is something to truly appreciate

Absolutely spotless and in the perfect location - you’re literally staying in the building of the old train station, so after a long day of skiing, you step off the train and you’re already home, while others still have to get there! But you wouldn’t hear the trains at all. A bus stop is just steps away. The apartment is warm, fully equipped for a comfortable stay, with spacious shared areas. The owner is delightful and charming — we felt truly welcome!

Convenient and pleasant stopover near the Gottardo Tunnel

We wanted to stop for the night just after the Gottardo Tunnel driving south, and this place was perfect for that. The hostess greeted us, but we did have to wait a bit. There were restaurants across the street, but they were all closed (holiday?) so we made our own food in the kitchen, which was homy. We could have driven to a restaurant, but didn't want to after the long drive there. The bedroom was very nice.

The room is part of a converted train station, which was fine, but part of it was still a train station (which you didn't notice once you were inside), but it was a bit fussy about keeping the front entrance locked, etc. The bedroom was upstairs, the bathroom(s) were downstairs, both a separate toilet and a good sized bathroom with toilet, which were both shared with one other guest. Someone needing to use the bathroom often during the night might not be happy.

Ambri ist das Dorf von Harry Potter, in einem Fenster brannte Licht- und aus einem Kamin kam Rauch

Geboten wird nicht nur ein Zimmer, sondern eine grosse Wohnung mit Aufenthaltsbereich- Küche- WC- Dusche- und Kaffeemaschine. Die Lage ist mitten im Dorf einfach super- direkt beim Bahnhof und Bus Station - 5 Minuten Fussweg zum Stadion des HCAP Ambri-Piotta- und ein sehr freundlichen Empfang. Werde ich immer wieder buchen.

De inzet van de verhuurder. Goed bereikbaar en snel ter plaatse.

Het ontbijt: het was zondag dus afbakbroodjes en een koffiezet apparaat met kuren. Valt in de categorie prijs/kwaliteit. Voor de rest was alles goed geregeld.

Super Lage. Direkt am Bahnhof. Das Guesthouse ist im ehemaligen Bahnhofsgebäude angesiedelt. Sehr spezielle und coole Lokation mit Gastgebern die alles für einen möglich machen und ausserordentlich freundlich und hilfsbereit sind. Die Zimmer sind mit Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet und haben jeweils ihren eigenen Charme.
