The house was exactly as described. The owners were very kind and very pleasant to deal with. The house is located on the side of a very large hill just outside Salzburg. It was very quiet and quite peaceful, as well extraordinarily beautiful. I would definitely stay here again.

We had a really enjoyable stay at Haus Smilla over Christmas as a group of nine. The house is well situated in a quiet area and with lovely views over the village and the nearby hills - particularly with the snow! Supermarkets in the village are easily reached by foot, and there are beautiful walking trails and possibilities for skiing and sledging. The drive into Salzburg takes about 30 minutes and the roads are excellent. The house has lots of character and rustic charm, plenty of space for our party, and very cosy when the downstairs fire and stove and upstairs stove are lit. The kitchen was well equipped and the washer/dryer useful for a large group of people. Gerhard was a very friendly and helpful host and he and his caretaker responded promptly to any questions we had.

There was plenty of room for four active grandchildren to keep busy indoors and outside with a nearby soccer pitch. We had great meals together in a nice family room while we watched the World Cup. This was one of our stops on a multi city tour of Europe where we could relax in a great country setting in the shadow of the Alps. One added perk was a washer dryer that gave us the opportunity to catch up on our laundry. Great home in a beautiful part of Austria.

Great home in a lovely area about 15-20 minutes from Salzburg. The home is large and accomadates many people. We stayed with our five children and there was plenty of space. Check in requires meeting the hostess which was a little difficult since we didn't know what time we would be arriving but she was accomadating and seemed flexible.

Although pricey for just three people (I recommend it for a larger group), it was a lovely home! It was so peaceful and quiet and gave us a wonderful taste of life in the Austrian Alps!

Large place with room for a big group. Not in Salzburg so a car was handy. Shopping close by. Loved the natural environment. Communication could be better with arrival. We had to buy a few essential items.

Wir (3 Familien, 6 Erwachsene, 6 Kinder) haben nach Ostern 5 wunderschöne Tage im Haus verbracht. Das Haus ist sehr großzügig und gemültich. Die Ausstattung ist top und man erreicht die umliegenden Seen und auch Salzburg in 15-30 min. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt - danke für den schönenen Aufenthalt.

2 sehr saubere und ordentliche Nassräume, dadurch braucht es bei Gruppen in der Früh etwas Zeit. Viel Platz für eine Großgruppe. Großer, toll gestalteter Außenbereich. Sehr gut ausgestattete Küche. Sehr gute Kommunikation mit Vermieter. Auf jeden Fall ein Haus mit Stil, auch für Kinder sehr gut geeignet. Schade nur dass die Web-Seite zu wenig Spielraum für die Anmeldemöglichkeiten lässt, nicht alle bleiben bei Großgruppen die ganze Zeit, oder kommen später.

Schönes großes Haus in der Nähe von Salzburg. Waren insgesamt 7 Erwachsene und 6 kleine Kinder (2-5 Jahre) und es gab für alle genügend Schlafzimmer. Auch der Wohn-/Essbereich ist ausreichend groß und durch den Holzofen gemütlich warm.

Das Objekt liegt in einer sehr ruhigen Sackgasse mit zwei direkten Nachbarn (links, wie rechts). Das Haus ist in einem tadellosen Zustand - eine erneute Buchung würde ich vornehmen. Der Vermieter, wie auch die Ansprechparnterin vor Ort sind sehr nett und helfen in allen Belangen. Insgesamt lässt sich das Objekt daher nur mit 5 von 5 Sternen bewerten. Wir haben uns in der wunderschönen Umgebung bestens erholt ! Traumwetter - Traumurlaub !! Das Haus liegt sehr schön am Hang, hat eine wunderschöne Sonnenterrasse und einen hübschen Garten. Es ist nur eine halbe Stunde bis Salzburg und eine halbe Stunde zu den meisten Seen im Salzkammergut. Das Haus bietet alles, was man braucht, die Küche ist auch für viele Köpfe ausgestattet, Waschmaschine und Trockner erleichtern das Packen - da braucht man nicht viel, und genügend Schlafzimmer, Bäder und Toiletten sind verfügbar. Idealer Standort für Wanderungen, Ausflüge oder Touren nach Salzburg.

Wir waren am Wochenende mit 13 Personen im Haus Smilla. Jeder von uns war rundum zufrieden. die 5 Dopppelzimmer und das "Matratzenlager" im Obergeschoss sind gemütlich und schön eingerichtet. Die beiden Badezimmer und extra Toilette waren für uns ausreichend. In der Küche ist genügend Platz um auch mit 5-6 Personen Essen zuzubereiten. Der Wohn- und Essbereich ist mit dem Kamin sehr gemütlich und bietet genügend Platz für eine große Gruppe. Wir waren absolut zufrieden und würden die Unterkunft jedem empfehlen, der ein paar schöne Tage in den Bergen verbringen möchte.

Wir waren zu 12 und hatten genug Platz für alle. Der Wohnraum ist im unteren Stockwerk, dadurch waren die Schlafräume im oberen Stockwerk schön still. Der Skilift vor dem Haus war praktisch zum "warm fahren" und zum Abschluss am Freitag mit Flutlicht zu befahren. Das Skigebiet Hintersee ist ein Traum und man war schnell da. Einen Stern weniger gibt es nur wegen der oberen Toilette die einen unangenehmen Geruch hatte und kein Fenster. Dafür war das neu renovierte Bad neben dem Wohnzimmer zum Ausgleich um so schöner und bei allen beliebt! :-)

Wir hatten ein wunderschönes Familienfest (11 Erw. 3Kleinstkinder) im geschmackvoll eingerichteten Haus Smilla. Es war alles da, was wir brauchten ( man müsste die Sektgläser wieder auffüllen) und auch genug Platz für alle. Gute Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, gute Verbindung nach Salzburg, wunderschöne Gegend. Bei schlechtem Wetter ist es sehr gemütlich und warm im Haus, besonders mit dem Kachelofen im Wohnzimmer. Für uns war das Haus perfekt. Vielen Dank!!
