Very nice and warm in the winter

It’s warm inside the cabin in the winter. Sauna is great and there is a nice view from the bedroom window.

No essentials in the kitchen, such as coffee, tea, coffee filters, sugar, oil and salt

Exceptional

My friend and I had a lovely stay! It was exactly what we were looking for- the property is in a beautiful, quiet location, and the cottage itself is very homey and cozy. We enjoyed relaxing, making food, spending time in the sauna, going for walks in the area, etc. Sauli and the staff are so helpful and made the whole experience easy and enjoyable. Would definitely stay at Rieskapaikka again!

We enjoyed the stay despite some minor inconveniences

it’s nicely furnished. the sauna is great and the view fantastic. the cottage has enough space for two adults and two children. It was warm and comfortable by - 13*C

it’s located between a relatively big road and a railway, ok in winter but could be noisy in summer when the windows are open. No wifi in the cottage does not work at all. Bed linen was not put on the futon mattresses, which is a bit disappointing for a property costing about 170 euros per night.

Lovely Christmas in the North

Lovely place to stay and celebrate Christmas with family. It was warm and clean, kitchen was equipped with enough kitchen utensils to prepare warm meals and drinks. Sauna was excellent and location was great, just an hour drive from Rovaniemi.

The second level was too warm for sleeping because it's just above the sauna and no option to ventilate upper part of the apartment. We were 4 people, but there were only two chairs, two people had to sit on the bed during meals and board games.

Un beau séjour

L’emplacement était idéal : calme, propre et très bien situé. J’ai adoré pouvoir admirer les levés et couchers de soleil directement depuis le chalet — un vrai moment de sérénité. Le sauna était parfait pour se détendre après les journées froides, et le fait d’avoir un parking juste devant était vraiment pratique, surtout avec les températures en dessous de -30°C. Un séjour impeccable, je recommande vivement !

Le seul point négatif a été la fermeture du restaurant pendant toute la durée de mon séjour (7 jours), ce qui était vraiment dommage. Mis à part cela, tout était très bien.

La posizione in mezzo al bosco, la sauna, l’architettura, la pulizia e il calore

Unico piccolo problema è la doccia, non essendoci il piatto doccia quando ci si lava si allaga il bagno, ma non è un problema solo di questo appartamento

Le lieux est parfait! Deux laavus à proximité, le dîner à côté est très chouette et sert aussi de boulangerie! Le personnel est amicale et le chalet est hyper confort! Le sauna est top!

Aurora waardige plek!

Het is een fantastische plek buiten de stad. Een goede plek om snachts de Aurora te bekijken omdat we weinig licht is in de omgeving. Ook is de hut voorzien van een heerlijke sauna en alle comfort die je nodig hebt. Wij hebben hier genoten.
