Brilliant family place, a gem of Lapland

If you are looking for a glamorous hotel in the centre of the city - this is not for you. This authentic villa with traditional sauna and a fireplace is in the middle of nowhere, exceptionally calm and tranquil but relatively close to the city and Santa Village. The host is brilliant!

Felt like a dream!

The location was perfect! Close enough to the town, but far enough to see some northern lights! We were lucky enough that we saw northern lights every day and Mr. Jari even gave us some tips on where to go to see them even better! The house was very clean and warm and the sauna was perfect for the dry weather. It felt like a dream destination. Thank you so much Mrs. Merja and Mr. Jari for the very welcoming reception and for the beautiful house. We will definitely be back soon!

Fascinating, awesome place.

Everything was so well decorated and maintained hard to believe. Everything was beyond the expectation. Cannot complain. The owner Jari and his wife was so friendly and very kind.

Amazing host, so friendly and helpful. The villa is beautiful and well equipped with everything you could need. Perfect location, not too far away from everything but far enough out to be quiet and peaceful. We got to see the aurora from the front of the house! Thank you for the sledges for the little ones, it made their stay perfect.

Beautiful setting and fantastic hosts. The cottage had everything we needed and was very comfortable. The exceptional host, who made our 2 boys very happy with the loan of a sled and a snow mountain! 🤣

Petfect winter experience

The Villa was very cozy, spacious, extremelly well equiped, on a great location; we could even see aurora borealis directly through our bedroom window. Owners were very nice and friendly and made us feel at home. We highly recommend this place.

Great family experience

Great location and exactly what we wanted. Very warm home . It was -30 degrees outside while we were there and with the fire ,the heating and the sauna we were warm and comfortable.The owner Jari was really nice and helpful.I would definitely stay again if I were to go to lapland again. Thank you to Jari and his wife for making our stay there so special.

Perfect!

What am incredible cosy cottage on the outskirts of Rovaniemi. We had a very warm welcome from the owner, the cottage was the perfect getaway, amazing log fire, comfortable beds and everything you need in the kitchen. The cottage was very clean. The finishing touches were also fabulous, some Christmas decorations around the cottage and a little secret door for the elf's, which my children loved! I would recommend you having your own transport when staying here.

Nothing negative to add, it was a pleasure to stay here.

The perfect place

We loved absolutely everything about villa bear's. The location for us was perfect. We wanted to be out of the city but close enough to drive everywhere. The view surrounding the cabin is stunning. We saw the northern lights from the balcony. The details within the cabin are immaculate. Everything is very well thought out to make guests stay easy and comfortable, a few things are beds and pillows are comfy, heated floor in the bathroom, supplies in the cupboard such as coffee, sugar, oil and many other supplies that are helpful when you arrive. We were warm inside even when the temp hit -29 outside. Jari and Merja, who are next door if you need anything, are wonderful, and really made the stay extra special. The children loved playing in the snow outside, there is plenty of space for this and even some snow piles for sledging. We definitely recommend this beautiful place and would love to go back one day.

Such a beautiful and cosy log cabin house. Very warm, spotless clean and a lot attention to detail. Decorated beautifully and equipped with all needed for perfect stay. Beautiful location. Very quiet location and beautiful nature. The cottage was very well cared for and furnished. With the whole family, we enjoyed 4 days of nice stay. We were also able to enjoy the northern lights from the location. The owner was very friendly and gave the necessary information so that we could fully enjoy to discover this piece of Lapland.

Away from the hassle of town. Quite and comfortable. We had a car so it was very easy to get to all the attractions. Great and welcoming hosts. Everything we needed was already there (coffee, sugar, tea etc.). Get to the house before you buy supplies. We could see the aurora from our front door (as was suggested by our host). We will have plans to revisit.

It was magical and perfect

EVERYTHING!! This place is so magical. My two boys could not get enough of this home and still talk about it now. It was exactly what we wanted and really added to our Finland trip. It was warm, cosy, cute and perfect. The Sauna was a great addition and having hot chocolates in front of the open fire is a memory that we will keep with us forever.

That we didn't stay there longer to enjoy it more.

Abbiamo trascorso un soggiorno indimenticabile in questa bellissima casa immersa nella natura. La posizione è perfetta per chi cerca tranquillità e relax, circondati dai suoni della natura. La casa è un vero gioiello: accogliente, ben curata e dotata di tutte le comodità. La cucina è completamente attrezzata con tutto il necessario per cucinare, dalle posate alle padelle, dai bicchieri al microonde, tostapane e bollitore. Non manca nulla! Le tovaglie e le coperte erano impeccabili e la casa super pulita. La sauna a disposizione. Un punto di forza è sicuramente la gentilezza e disponibilità del proprietario, che ci ha fatto sentire subito a casa. Se cercate un posto dove staccare dalla routine e godervi la bellezza della natura senza rinunciare alla comodità, questo è il luogo ideale!
