Windy Waves Beach Nature Resort & Kite School

We loved our little bamboo hut, just a few metres from the crashing waves. The thoughtful details were also great. For example the tap outside the front of the cabin for foot washing, was a conch shell as were the other taps in the resort. There was also a broom in the room to expel any stray sand and the outdoor bathroom was delightful. The beachfront restaurant/bar was so nice with excellent food and a great selection o music to create the ambience. The staff too were lovely and really helpful.

The resort is great and on the beach, staff is incredible and the food is the best we’ve had in Sri Lanka. Everything was so delicious :)

I appreciated the peaceful location and the resort's eco-friendly design. The clean, open bathrooms with trees inside were a unique touch, and the private beach was exceptionally clean and uncrowded.

Our room was too hot due to poor ventilation; the lack of windows or vents prevented the cool outside air from circulating inside. The parking space was very narrow and limited to 3 or 4 vehicles. Must put an automatic water pump switch, because when there is no water, we have to call the staff.
