Portion Farmhouse nestled in the heart of Chianti with private pool,

The house is beautifully located up in the hills. Bernardino-the host- and his wife are very accommodating and friendly. We felt very welcome! The property consists of 2 buildings with a main house and a side building with 2 apartments. We stayed in the main house. The house is well equipped and has plenty of space available, both inside and out. The upstairs -permanent- neighbors are very kind and we weren’t in each others way one bit, since you don’t share any of the facilities with them. If the weather allows the pool that belongs to the main house is a fantastic area to stay, with plenty of lounge chairs and a big table for lunch and dinners. If the weather is colder, the house offers all the cosiness you want with a big fire place (wood is provided). Gaiole in Chianti offers restaurants and a small supermarket. The Chianti hills around the village are incredible and there are plenty of places to visit, like all the wine castles for example. Firenze and Siena are within decent driving distance. All in all a great stay in very welcoming surroundings!

House was very large and roomy. Comfy beds! We really appreciated the espresso machine and water left in refrigerator. Host is very responsive and contacted us frequently. Unfortunately there were issues with electrical power- going out- area is somewhat remote. Loved the local village- we walked- it is close- but must be in good shape to do that as area is very hilly.

We can very much rekommend this villa in Giaole in Chianti, a lovely littel town. The house is perfect for 8 persons (4 bedrooms) and lovely with the terasse and swimmingpool.

We had a fantastic week at this villa near the lovely town of Gaiole in Chianti. The villa itself is beautiful, full of character as well as having all the facilities you could want. The main building sleeps 8 comfortably (3 doubles 1 twin) plus there is another smaller building just outside which accommodates another 4 people (separate booking required for the small building). The main pool is huge, well kept and has a great covered seating area with a bbq. There is also a smaller pool and hot tub near the other building. Location is ideal, just 5 mins drive from the bars, restaurants and shops of Gaiole, but is tucked away up a secluded driveway which means it is so peaceful. This accommodation is ideal for either a family holiday or a group of friends looking to chill out in Tuscany! A word about the host too - Bernardino is friendly, helpful and very responsive to any query.We had a great week and I highly recommend this accommodation!
