Our family (us with a toddler plus my elderly mother) had the most amazing and magical family holiday at Podere Tegline. We had to book fairly las minute after our previous booking had fallen through and Simonetta could not have been more accomodating. We stayed in Il Torre, which was perfect with a big living space and a small bedroom downstairs and a big, romantic upstairs area with a bed that was big enough for us two and our son. The flat is perhaps the most gorgeous, ancient accomodation I have ever stayed at, with all original features left intact, respecting its history. The farm is magic in itself, with two gorgeous horses, many goats, a small lake with frogs, vineyards, wild flowers, breathtaking views and birdsong day and night. Simonetta and Giovanni are the most welcoming, open and generous hosts I have met and overall fantastic people. Couldn’t believe our luck to have brough us here. We’ll be back!

Simonetta and Giovanni are wonderful people. Our children loved playing in the vineyards and watching the goats. Simonetta also helped us plan where to go and what to see. She’s an amazing guide! We loved learning so much history form Giovanni as well

Das Haus liegt ein paar hundert Meter von der Straße entfernt. Die Zufahrt ist am besten mit einem SUV, bzw. höher gelegten Fahrzeug zu bewältigen. Die Lage ist ausgezeichnet, wie fast im gesamten Chiantigebiet.
Das Haus ist gut 500 Jahre alt, das Mobiliar ist gefühlt aus der Mitte des letzten Jahrhunderts, von zwei Kochplatten funktionierte eine, mit den WC-Spülungen muss man Geduld aufbringen.
Die angebotene Weinprobe war sehr interessant, die italienisch/englisch sprechenden Vermieter waren sehr bemüht und gaben gute Tipps.
