Residential home in Riga near Agenskalna Quarter

Self checkin was easy. The location is great, near the bus station, near the supermarket lidl and maxima. You need about 10min by bus to old town. It was warm and cozy.

The communication with a host, whatever I replied they would just copy paste automated messages. And sometimes said that checkin is at 15.00, another time 16.00, then again 15.00.... You can't bring anyone to apartment without asking for permission (date, time, how long will they stay) and that's the first time I heard about that. Sometimes you just can't know in advance you'll have visitors. The bathtub was clogged, same as washbasin. The washing machine was not working.

Easy check inn, good location.

Mold on the bathroom walls due to the closed space without a ventilation window. The smell was felt throughout the apartment. The existing ventilation is not sufficient. For people with allergies, this can be a big problem. The window in the living room and bedroom was without bars or mosquito nets, although the apartment is on the ground floor, and anyone can enter through the window. Maybe in the future these problems will be solved. Onother thing I didn't like: I was asked to pay the tourist fee in a privat account, which is by the way included in the initial price, confirmed also by booking.com. So in the end, this issues was solved by silence. Otherwise, perfectly equipped kitchen, good location, and super nice host.

Perfect location. Close to the city center and airport. The apartment is located in a very nice, renovated building. Free parking. Easy check-in.

- A very dirty and dusty apartment - all surfaces, windowsills, and corners were full of dust. Even the glasses and plates in the kitchen area were dusty. Looks like nobody is cleaning under the tables or beds (we found some slippers and pills under the bed, and a used towel in the washing machine). Chair cushions with stains. - The corridor closet was full of old and used slippers, boxes, blankets, and toys. - The kitchen area under the sink was full of empty bottles and jam jars. - The furniture in the apartment is very worn. The same applies to the shower. - The pictures of the apartment on booking.com do not correspond to reality.
