Oldtown Palasta Apartments

Tutto bene. Posizione centrale e tutto si raggiunge facilmente a piedi compresa la stazione centrale dei treni. A 5 minuti a piedi dalla fermata del bus 22 che collega con aeroporto. Ottimo rapporto qualità-prezzo per Riga per la posizione e per l'appartamento che è molto spazioso visto che ha due camere e noi eravamo in due.

Great central location

The apartment is spacious, has two big rooms, kitchen perfect to accommodate 3 to 4 people if needed. First floor, nice stairwell. The flat is located in the center of the Old Town, very close to Daugava river bank, 3 minutes walk to the Town Hall Square and House of the Blackheads. Nearest stop of 22 of the airport bus is 5 minutes away on the Grecinieku iela. The Riga Autoosta close to the Centraltirgus is approximately 15 minutes by foot from the apartment. The area is nice and safe, there is little Remi convenience store on the Town Hall Square. The building was safe, no noisy neighbours nor drunken tourists, though there's a bar on the ground floor. Logistically, the location is perfect.

Wobbly toilet seat, mold on the shower curtain, wax (?) stain on the pillowcase. Upon the arrival I have put my passport on the kitchen table and I could not remove it without stains because there was some sticky, reddish liquid left on the dapple table surface. This in light of 15 EUR cleaning fee is not something I would expect. Even though WiFi is working, a bunch of websites were restricted so I could not check-in for my flight, I could not access my mobile bank or even check clothing store apps or foreign news platforms and I got to leave the house everytime to search for free WiFi elsewhere.
