Good value !

VERY clean and the security was really good ... 4 locks .. one on the gate one on the outside of the building one to get into the shared room and one for the bedroom.

No kitchen to speak of ... the shower head didn't have a handle on the shower recess so you have to hold it to get wet.

Relief from overtourism

Well situated in a quiet, tree lined neighbourhood full of sidewalk cafès, just a 10 minute walk from Mestre train station. There were even some tasty and cheap Bangoli eateries downstairs, which gave the place some exotic atmosphere. The room was basic, but very spacious.

The place is very secure with excellent strong locks, the floors impeccably clean polished marble , immaculate fridge even, but somewhat lacking in charm. A bedside table and reading light is essential! The check-in system could do with modernising, if possible. Also, stronger lighting in the bathroom mirror for conducting ablutions, and a full length mirror at the entrance is standard. These are very minor defects in an otherwise perfect place!

Unprofessional staff

Check in finishes at 6pm. What a joke. Staff is rude. Charged us 30 EURO for getting in after 6pm. Texting me on my private WhatsApp being very unprofessional texts having a go at us as we checked in after 6. Area is also full of groups of men hanging around on street corners. We had to check transport at night as it felt unsafe. Ended up with the extra 30 charge could have stayed somewhere without this hassle

Great value to price with very easy access to Venezia.

Great location, just few steps from bus stop, shops and around 15 minutes walk from train station in Mestre. Very kind and supporting staff. Clean toilet with hot water in shower. Lot of place in the room with comfortable bed.

If possible kitchen could be available but overall price/quality ratio is great.

A nice, pleasant stay in Venice

Overall the experience was good. From the start it was challenging to find the place, but eventually we found. The host was great, he helped explaining how to get to Venice and what other good places were nearby. The number was good, it has a shared bathroom. For the money we paid, we cannot expect more. Everything went well.

You can hear neighbours opening and closing the doors (including the bathroom). In our case it wasn’t much big of a deal because we were always coming late, and going early. Also the neighbours were ok. But it could be a problem if you get a noisy company as neighbours.

Near to the main train station and to a bus stop to Venice.

Pictures don't match with the real room! We slept on a sofa bed... it was a flat and they used every room to book. It was also too hot to sleep. We know the night it's not expensive but if we knew it wasn't like the description and pictures we wouldn't have booked here.

Nice & Noisy

The location (in Marghera) is good, served by a tram [T2, Mestre (Centre)/Marghera] and several buses [6/6L/…, Venezia Piazzale Roma], just around the corner. The host was great and helpful, and made me feel welcome at arrival. Overall pretty good value to price ratio, I guess. (A big and cheap room, near Venice.)

The building (which from the outside looks like a regular residental building, and houses several ‘guest houses’) sadly and loudly has ‘paper thin walls’, and I sure had some noisy neighbours, on the same floor and the floor above. (And the single room right next to the bathroom, and people showering at 1 am in the morning surely didn’t help either.)

The location is in a quiet area and the bus and tram stops are 1 minute walk away. The price was definitely worth it and would consider staying here again.

The bed was not very comfortable and made a lot of noise. Door bell was being rung at 9am very loudly so that the rooms can get cleaned, but was not necessary as we are adults and can leave on the agreed 10am time on our own. Other than that the room was quite large and spacious.

I had read the reviews and was also totally satisfied with my room. it even had a very lovely view! getting to Venice posed no problem as buses were frequent. it was easy to get breakfast nearby, even early in the morning. just make sure the host knows when you plan to arrive, or else call him on arrival.

Affordable and well connected to the center

The owner is very kind and accommodating. The location (very clean and safe neighborhood) is very well situated, loads of small shops and cafes next to the apartment and the connection with the center of Venice is perfect.

My room had a cigarette smoke odor. It’s more of a hostel than a guest house so if you’re unlucky and there would be some noisy people staying in the other rooms, you’d be completely on your own to solve the problem because the owner does not stay in the building.
