Great place to stay to explore Lake Maggiore

Owner was pleasant but very fussy.
Location excellent. Just 5 minutes from bus stop where the Alibus airport bus stops. Conveniently situated for all bus,train and boats. Also supermarkets and many other shops and restaurants only minutes away. Apartment light and airy and quite big.
Owner was really helpful with directions and suggestions of where to go but did have an awful lot of rules about what we could and couldn't do. She also owned other apartments in the building and so was around quite a bit and sometimes we felt as though she was spying on us. We stayed for 9 days but were only supplied with 1 bath towel, 1 smaller than a hand towel and 1 flannel each. We asked for more towels which she reluctantly supplied. Don't know if we were meant to use the washing machine in the apartment but we are always reluctant to do this in case it breaks and we don't get our 200 euro deposit back. Apartment furnished quite cheaply but adequate. Kettle hopeless as you could only boil it once and then you had to wait for it to cool down before you could use it again. Apartment did have a toaster though, which you don't often find.

Exceptional
It was amazing to be right in the middle of the old town with everything within walking distance. The owner was very welcoming and gave us lots of tips what the locals do. And yes we did feel like locals. The apartment was big enough for us and our three kids 13, 11, 8. The big Terrace was a plus where we had our breakfast! We loved it and will come back.
