Where to begin! Beautiful place, stunning views, all the mod cons, host kindly arranged for us to be collected from the station and our driver kindly stopped at the supermarket on the way to the apartment. The whole place was in immaculate condition. The hot tub was great and the sunsets were amazing! Stresa the town was so delightful too.
The walk to and from town is steep but it only takes a few minutes. Just quite hard work walking uphill in the heat. The only other thing is that the sofa bed was very creaky but I’m sure the owner has oiled the springs since we stayed.

De ruimte en de hoogte van dit modern ingerichte appartement was fantastisch. Zo ook het geweldige uitzicht op het meer. Zelfs vanuit je bed panorama view op het Lago Maggiore.

To be honest, we were quite disappointed. The check-in process felt inflexible — we asked to come earlier but were firmly told we couldn’t enter before 15:00, which didn’t feel welcoming at all.
