Lovely place, but unnecessry costs and intrusions
Fantastic location. Near train station, shops, restaurants and lake. Parking available. Spacious house.
We had to give precise arrival time (and call again 30 mins before arrival to confirm). We also had to pay extra because we arrived after 22.00 and we were made to feel bad about being late (and inconveniencing the owner). A key box would solve all of this and be far less stressful. Also, we had to pay separately for towels. Again this should have been part of the price. Also the owner visited 3-4 times a day to check on what we had were doing. We found it intrusive and disturbing. Also there were so many rules to follow - for the TV, recycling, etc that she wanted to explain - it made us feel like we were a burden rather than her guests!

Location was good
The owners entered constantly and without warning, rummaged through the garbage and turned off the heat, and the rooms were therefore very cold. it was all very unpleasant and ruined the whole family's vacation because there was no privacy and coziness.

A great stay in a lovely spacious house.
Tastefully decorated and loved the high ceilings, especially in hot weather with no air conditioning. We had everything we required and really enjoyed our stay. It’s a lovely house. I would suggest some insect repellent to be supplied, the bugs were rife!
There’s a condition that guests keep quiet between 10pm and 8am….could someone let the neighbourhood dogs know that please. The noise from many barking dogs was excessive some nights.

Lovely lake holiday villa with superb location!
The house is great for a vacation with friends or family. There is plenty of space (3 bedrooms, 2 badrooms) and the small garden is a luxury for breakfast/dinner/drinks when you want to take it easy. The small river running next to the house creates a nice ambience. The kitchen is fully equipped and there is also a washing machine. The old town and the beach are very close (5-10min walk) and with help of a map available we could also explore hiking trails starting nearby. The staff was helpful, easily available and always friendly.
The location is quite central, so there is noise from the traffic but a good pair of earplugs helps.

Es war ok, aber wir werden dort keine Ferien mehr machen.
Die Lage war gut. See und Wanderweg in der Nähe. Einkauf und gute Pizzeria auch. Genügend Zimmer, Platz genug für 5 Personen. Terrasse gut ausgestattet.
Es hatte 2 Badezimmer. Eins war neu gemacht, jedoch der Badeteppich war sehr schmudelig. Daher habe ich ihn nicht benutzt. Das andere Bad war alt, am 2.letzten Tag hatte es Silberfische in der Badewanne. Da haben wir sie nicht mehr zum Duschen benutzt. Die Decken waren nicht sehr sauber, Bettbezug u. Leintuch auch nicht. Alles in Allem: Sauberkeit könnte besser sein. In der Nacht bellte der Hund von nebenan(Vermieterin). Das Haus ist ringhörig.

De host was zeer vriendelijk en erg behulpzaam! Ze wam regelmatig vragen of alles beviel en om even een praatje maken. Stresa is ook een erg leuke plaats.
