Misleading photos and description, construction right outside, abysmal service

First, the service is abysmal: the property manager on-site asked us to walk to some other house through the forest when it was already dark (9pm) just to give us keys to the apartment. We couldn't find it, so she made us "a favor" and walked to meet us. She also brought her kid with her for some reason, and of course, he was touching everything around the apartments she was showing us. The first apartment she showed us was nothing like the pictures - significantly smaller and run down. After we said that it's not acceptable, she proposed we pay an extra 250-500EUR to move to another apartment in another building that, surprisingly, was even worse - it had unfinished wires on the walls and was with absolute minimum furniture. We declined, and she showed us the third apartment in the original building that was closer to the pictures on booking.com. By that time it was already after 10pm, so we decided to stay. Casually, the property manager also told us that the apartment windows were open for the last three days and couldn't answer why. Just to gather as many mosquitos as possible (see photo)? :) The next day we found out that there was loud construction right outside and there's no point in getting an apartment with a terrace - you can't enjoy it anyway. Beware, all these photos of a forest outside the windows are no longer true, and the property does not update photos or write anything about this. Moreover, most photos of the inside are also not true. For example, we booked "Superior Apartment with Terrace" and out of 23 photos only 2 represent the actual apartment (out of three apartments that we've seen). It seems that the owners are intentionally misleading people. We checked out after the first night and had a great rest of the vacation in a significantly better place. There are so many wonderful places in Palanga and Kunigiškiai, avoid this place at all costs. No idea how this place can be rated so high.

Location was perfect and I really loved the time here. The appartment was very clean and well equiped, staff was helpful and pleasant to communicate. I even stayed couple of days longer than planned. A very good option to have calm and peaceful time in Palanga

I looked for a quieter place to stay for the second night

Suitable for people who dream of living in apartment buildings and neighbors' conversations, visits, activities. And who is happy with the view of the wall and window of the neighboring houses. In addition, they enjoy feeding the swarms of mosquitoes breeding in the untidy pond next door.

A very densely populated complex of houses in the middle of the construction sites, reminiscent of dormitories in a worker's settlement. A minimum of grass, flowers, all covered with stone paving, view from the rooms 10 m away either the building opposite or construction machinery. In the houses, terraces on the first floor without railings, a narrow spiral staircase to the second and third floors, without an elevator. Divide your luggage into smaller suitcases. The walls and doors can be heard, the front door is open all night, there is no air conditioning, there is no reception house/room, communication only by phone. The access is a dirt road that must be shared with construction machinery. GPS does not deliver exactly to the given address.

We liked everything about it! Great location! Forest, you can hear the noise of the sea, no bustle around. The beach is 5 minutes walk! You can barbecue! Apartments are new! Hosts are wonderful! For a family vacation this is the best place!

The location is good. The apartments are good and comfortable. Very close to the forest. The beach is 10 minutes walk. The city center is about 25-30 minutes walk or 5 minutes by car.

There is not enough furniture in the apartment (bedside tables, shelves for luggage). No clothes dryer. There is no air conditioner in my room.

Note that balcony of the aprtment is not private, but shared with two other apartments which gives you no privacy. Also if there is any a bit louder noise outside [e.g. in the stairwell], its heard inside as well.

Good

Very good location - walking distance from the beach and beautiful pine forest with lots of walking/jogging paths right next to the yard. We got to park our car inside of gate in private area which was a great plus since parking spots can be difficult to find.

The apartment is ok but we wish we would have known that there is a construction site just behind our balcony. The view was not that great and it did not feel like we wanted to spend any time on the balcony. Also the other guests did not respect the silence time at all (23-07) at all and the first night kids were yelling and screaming even at night time after 23 behind our windows and the second night was even worse as adults were drinking and yelling in the yard till midnight just behind our balcony. As we had to wake up very early my boyfriend had to finally go and say that it would be nice if they shout a little less which is not something you wish to do on holiday. As there was no remote control for the air condition we wanted to keep the window open so it would not get too hot during night but we could not do that because of the noisy neighbours.

Not as described

Location near sea.

Most of the building is unfinished. Lots of cables were just hanging out of the wall. Was halffurnished, no bedside tables, no cupboard etc. No towels, no soaps. Too expensive for what you get. Toilet has crack on the lid. Rubbish bin was not takrn out. Hard to find, no signs. Still construction site. Not as advertised on pictures.

Bad

The flat is not finished, still under construction. The location is also in the construction area. Around is total mess. There were eletricity wires open in bathroom, no mirror in the bathroom. The flat has the view to Cemetary. We had no hot water untill we called the host to turn it on. Sad but the worst stay experience ever
