Comfort Apartments Palanga

The location is excellent, in a quiet residential area with a peaceful atmosphere. We especially appreciated that vehicle access is restricted during the night, which made the surroundings very calm. The apartment was also exceptionally clean – one of the cleanest places we have stayed in. The bed linen and towels were fresh, and everything felt properly cleaned and well maintained. The outdoor pool is a nice bonus for families during warm weather, and the terrace with a barbecue area is great for groups.

There were many small issues that, if fixed, would make this apartment excellent. There is no wardrobe or chest of drawers in the apartment, so there is nowhere to properly store or hang clothes. The coat rack in the hallway was loose and partially broken. The entrance gate key did not work correctly, and the access code we received was also incorrect at first, which caused unnecessary inconvenience. The coffee machine was not working. Some minor maintenance work is also needed, for example one of the skirting boards was coming loose. The mattress was extremely soft. People with back problems may find it uncomfortable. The apartment has two bedrooms with double beds and is clearly designed for several guests, but the dining table only has two chairs, which feels impractical. The listing also mentioned an iron and a garment steamer, but neither of them was available in the apartment, which was disappointing.

Location

Lack of shower in the room, strange smell in the toilet, seems like from chimney. The kitchen wasn't equiped properly, there was no cutting board, the cupboard with dishes doesn't have partition with cupboard where trash can is.

Cozy, modern apartment perfect up to 2 couples

It’s a lovely apartment with beautiful terrace to enjoy afternoon sun. Clean and easy to access. It is quite central but also quiet neighbourhood. Short walk to the beach or buzz of the town. Parking available.

There is no wardrobe or even hooks/hangers to keep your clothes so all needed to stay in the suitcase or on the chairs in both bedrooms. Only one hook for one towel in the bathroom. We used two towels only and needed to keep it on the door/bed to dry. Can’t imagine how would 4-5 people could function in this flat. Kitchen is very poorly stocked, there is no wine glasses and no cooking pot for simple pasta cooking e.g. The space in the kitchen cupboards not organised properly. There was very unpleasant drains smell in the bathroom even we kept the ventilation almost all the time. The internet and so the TV didn’t work for 3days of our stay. It was difficult to get hold of the host via the number provided to report a problem and so we needed to do that through booking.com There was loud building noise coming from the house build opposite the road which impacted on our rest on the terrace. Towards the end of our stay a rowdy group of men arrived to the flat above us and got drunk and noisy, vomit on our terrace. The vomit was slightly brushed off only late evening next day but not cleaned properly even though we reported it in the morning.
