Quinta da Pavoa - Cottage House

We loved the perfect ocean view, all the sweet animals around the property, the good beds, large green garden and the very nice host Maria. You can always contact her with questions and she helps you a lot and answers very quickly. Our young kids (3 and 1 year old) loved all the animals. Especially the rooster, chickens and the little chicks were very loved by them. But the dog and cats are also very used to small children. If your kids are used to animals you can easily let them play together. We liked that the garden is completely fenced, so the oldest could play outside on his own without us to come along each time. Lots of nice activities close by and big supermarket just a few minutes away by car. During our stay of a week there was even a cleaning lady coming by to refresh the towels, bed and house.

The road towards the property is narrow and steep. We had a powerful rental car so for us no problem. Also traffic may come from both directions and then you need to go backwards to let them pass. Something to take into consideration if your not a driver used to this kind of road or traffic. For us it was fine.

I liked everything. The beautiful place, the animals that are so nice. Nina, Sissi, Boneca and Luna the cats and Jack the dog. The chickens, etc. We had everything, comfort and utensils. The location and view. The private parking.... Everything.

Nothing

The accommodation was a dream, and the view was phenomenal. The atmosphere with the animals was simply wonderful. The hostess was extremely accommodating and even asked if we liked eggs and provided some for us. We would choose this accommodation again anytime!
