Casa da Igreja Velha

It’s an absolutely beautiful home that is actually very similar to my mom‘s house in terms of interior decoration, which was very enjoyable for us. We love the beddings. The beds are very comfortable with very nice sheets and just perfect duvet for sleeping nice and cozy. We loved the fact that there was heating in the room. It was a bit humid so it was nice to be able to turn it off before going to bed. Also, the detail of the candle lights on at night in the corridor with something we really enjoyed. And of course, the garden is gorgeous the lighting at night is very tasteful and provides for a wonderful time in the backyard, relaxing in the evening. we loved having been able to take our dog and we’re very grateful to our hosts for allowing that

Honestly, we loved everything about it. The only issue we had is that the blue bathroom didn’t have hot water working. We could’ve called to have it fixed, but since it was just two of us, we managed with the one that was working. I’m sure it was something minor that we didn’t figure out, so it’s really definitely not a big deal at all.

Het was warm in de slaapkamers, wij waren er in augustus. En het was moeilijk om te ventileren s nachts met ramen aan de straatkant. Een ventilator zou helpen.

Très très belle maison et magnifique jardin, maison spacieuse, parfaite pour une famille. Super attention avec quelques fruits offerts. Supermarché à proximité

Rue très bruyante (route, camion poubelle, oiseaux). Assez chère par rapport aux prix affichés dans le document de la maison

This property was a perfect location in Furnas, within easy walking distance of the Terra Nostra Parque and thermal pools, and other areas of thermal activity. The house was lovely, traditional with all modern amenities!

The only improvement we would suggest, for all the properties we stayed in the Azores, would be to provide fans. It was apparently a hotter than normal summer, with high humidity, and even in September, we found it uncomfortably warm and humid for sleeping.
