Magnificent new 5-bedroom villa (2023) in a modern style with a swimming pool, jacuzzi, and BBQ, situated in a quiet and private area, surrounded by pineapple greenhouses, 5 minutes from the historic center with excellent access, a privileged location in the city of Ponta Delgada, and views of the sea and mountains (view of Lagoa de Fogo). A 7-minute drive from beaches and bathing areas, the surrounding space inspires you to go for walks, jog (near the urban park, 5 minutes on foot), play tennis (5 minutes on foot), visit a health club, or do yoga (the villa is very popular with groups for this activity).
Its interior encourages socializing with a fully equipped kitchen and an open-plan layout so that everyone can socialize at the same time. The division of the social area from the personal area allows for great tranquility when it's time to sleep, when the blackout curtains and air conditioning in the bedrooms help you set the ideal temperature and ensure darkness if that is your preference. Upon waking, you will benefit from a beautiful sunrise view while enjoying your breakfast indoors or on the terrace. On cooler days, enjoy the three-pane wood-burning stove and the climate-controlled wine cellar while relaxing in the second room next to the inner glass of the pool, or take advantage of the fire pit outside in the back area of the house. It will be very easy to enjoy a visit to the island, whether to appreciate the beauty of the surrounding nature, attend various live shows, learn a little about Azorean culture or its gastronomy. In the summer and Easter, there is no shortage of beaches and sea access areas throughout the island. I found it somewhat hidden to find but too difficult. Joao was amazing to speak with. Always pleasant, patient and kind. Extremely helpful with all my questions. The cleaning staff came in half way through oour visit, which was nice to see. Giving us fresh towels and new bedding. The ladies were incredibly efficient. The house was clean and spacious. Bedrooms in the lower half was different from what we’re accustomed to. The walking up and down the steps, kept us in shape and helped with maintaining our weight,LOL! But seriously, bedrooms were great, clean and with aircon units or fans. Sound proof. One little complaint because every Country is different and we are spoiled, some mattresses were quite firm and hard to sleep on for several nights when your older like us. Majority of my group is 60 and older. Jacuzzi was smaller than I thought. Only 2 of us used it. Too many chemicals in it and they experienced eye irritation. So just advice only proper treatment and not too much. Only a few of us used the pool. Found it to be very cold. However, our visit was the first two weeks of September, so no judgement here. The ones that used it liked it.Kitchen was so equipped and made cooking at the house convenient. There is a slight ant issue. We found for most of visit. But to be expected with a cupboard wth food and doors open. The screen system for the door could be improved to either a slide door system from the pull down screens. Great House tho

We stayed at this property with a group of 13 ladies and were able to comfortably accommodate everyone. The home is spacious, well-equipped, and beautifully maintained. The surroundings are peaceful, making it the perfect place to relax and unwind. All the amenities worked perfectly and met our needs. The homeowner was absolutely attentive both before and during our stay, ensuring everything went smoothly. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience!

The house is beautiful plenty of bedrooms as we were 4 families it was great each family had their own bathrooms.Beautiful house and pool.Host was responded quickly to anything that came up.Definitely would love to go backLucia

Perfect house for a big family to stay in. Lots of space for everyone. The kids loved the pool.
