This attractive stone-built cottage a mile from the town of Stocksbridge makes a great getaway for a couple looking to enjoy the walks and trails of this northern part of the Peaks. There are some views over the valley and moors from the cottage, which has a master bedroom with king-size double bed and en-suite bathroom. Downstairs, there is a fitted kitchen, and a sitting room with large sash windows and a cosy woodburner-effect stove. Outside, the cottage benefits from off road parking and a garden with furniture.

Electric cooker with gas hob, microwave, fridge, washer/dryer, dishwasher, TV with Freeview, DVD, CD, small library of books/games/DVDs, free WiFi connection. Fuel and power inc. in rent. The longer walks and good mountain biking of the National Park are a short drive away, and visitors may even take advantage of the proximity of the M1 to venture as far afield as Sheffield, Leeds or York.
