Lunecliffe Country lodge-Lancaster Gateway to the Lakes

Absolutely perfect. It felt like a home from home. Beautiful location. The owners were so friendly and their dogs were absolutely gorgeous. The Lodge has everything you could possibly need. It is spacious, clean and beautifully furnished. We did not want to leave and can't wait to visit again.

Quiet & comfortable self catering Lodge. Being just outside of Lancaster it is a good location for visiting the city and if you want to you can walk into the city centre via the Lancaster Canal tow path (about 2 miles).

Perfect location for quiet stay but near the town center. It's really a big surprise for our family that there's lots of tea & coffee selection and variety of books, board games and DVDs in the lodge which you can feel free to enjoy. The lodge menu is so lovely that you can find all information you need in there, even the taxi calling service and choices of take away. You can totally feel the detail minded and consideration from the host. The lodge is very comfy and clean. View is perfect and easy to park. Happy that we have luck to see many different lovely animals in there as well. We met sheep, horse, cat, dog and even hare!! Highly recommend!!!
