wonderfully peaceful and comfortable stay at this cozy countryside lodge.

I had an amazing stay at the Luneciffe Country Lodge near Lancaster! The lodge is beautifully presented—clean, modern, and wonderfully cozy. The large windows let in so much natural light, giving the whole space a bright and welcoming feel. The peaceful countryside setting was exactly what I needed for a relaxing break, with gorgeous open views right from the deck. The location is ideal too. Close enough to Lancaster for convenience, yet perfectly positioned as a gateway to the Lake District. It made exploring the surrounding area incredibly easy and enjoyable.

A little Gem

We really enjoyed our stay. The location was perfect for us. We walked into the city along the canal which was lovely. The lodge is surrounded by beautiful scenery, horses and sheep. We spotted wild deer in the fields. Very well equpped and comfortable lodge. Sarah welcomed us warmly and gave us some tips on where we could eat. We would 100% choose to stay here and and we all loved Lancaster.

We pretty much loved absolutely everything but if i had to say anything in this box i would feedback that one of the single beds was a little too soft and bouncy for my daughters preference.

Beautiful, peaceful break.

Beautiful lodge situated on a livery farm overlooking fields. Very well equipped and the lodge brochure is informative. Well equipped and comfortable. Quiet, peaceful location where it’s a couple of miles walk into Lancaster. This takes you along a canal which is really picturesque. Otherwise we found Ubers reasonable.

Nothing not to like here. It’s lovely. Due to the location I wouldn’t recommend it to people who have mobility difficulties.

Amazing stay

Brilliant stay. We loved it. Kids loved the farm and Sarah and Jack were brilliant showing the farm and allowing kids to help with lambs and horses feeds. The doggies were so friendly too. Lovely sunset from the lodge. Nice walk by the canal to town. And only 45 minutes drive to the lakes. Would love to come back. Thanks

Great stay just out of Lancaster

Sarah was incredibly friendly and helpful. The inside was very clean and cosy. Comfortable beds. TV with a good selection of DVDs. Provided teabags and milk! Nice view of horses in the morning.

Everything! Location, comfort, cleanliness and the attentive hosts. The hosts supply tea, coffee, soap, shampoo, shower gel etc and tips about places to visit and local eateries.

Beautiful lodge perfectly situated for a peaceful stay with easy access to Lancaster city.

Ideal location for a peaceful stay, rural but with easy access to Lancaster city and the University. The lodge was well-equipped and there was even fresh milk, tea, and coffee left out for us. The owners have thought of everything necessary to ensure comfort and practicality.

The cabin was a home from home. Everything we could have needed. Literally the only thing we could think of adding was some form of egg timer! Wonderful size space, especially for the price. Not to mention the little touches and additional thoughts, like extea pillow, fans, the local takeaway menus and directions to eateries. We will definitely be back.

2nd visit - always a good sign.

Our second stay here so you can see that we like it. Very quiet with friendly hosts. A modern very well equipped and comfortable log cabin. An individual property on a farm with livery stables looking on to the manage. Easy to find and park. Continue a long the road to Aldcliffe and you can park and walk into Lancaster along the canal . A bustling city with castle and interesting shops. In June 20234 the Cathedral was closed for renovations with only a view through front entrance, South from the property is Condor Green picnic site with a long walk along a disused railway. Interesting bird life.

A truly lovely Lancashire stay!

Hosts were friendly and helpful. Lodge is a lot bigger inside than pictures on booking, plenty of space. We were so lucky to have dry weather and explore Williamson Park, Lancaster and the surrounding areas, which were only a 5 minute drive by car. The Stork pub was wonderful for food, which is only nearby, with a friendly atmosphere. Sarah met us at the lodge when we arrived, explained everything, was on hand if needed, but gave us the freedom to enjoy our stay. A truly lovely Lancashire stay!
