Truly outstanding. Beautiful property and grounds.Spotlessly clean. Super effective air con and 3 bathrooms to choose between. Hot water was instant and plentiful. The pool is one of the cleanest we've used. The views from the property are fabulous. It is so peaceful and completely private. You do get used to the tiny approach roads. The host Laurence was extremely helpful and his communication was always prompt and clear. It is a 10 minute drive to Pinhao for a reasonable selection of restaurants. Just be aware many of them are only open for lunch despite what Google tells you!! We loved our stay and would definitely stay again if in the area.

O alojamento é excelente.
O muito bom gosto e qualidade caraterizam o The Douro Nest, tornando-o um dos locais que aconselho a quem procure alojamento, para visitar a bonita Região do Douro.
A falta de colchões nas espreguiçadeiras da piscina tornam-nas muito desconfortáveis.

A lovely place to stay. We became used to the narrow lanes through the village and looked forward to returning to the very comfortable accommodation with great views and pool after a day exploring the beautiful Douro valley. It was an excellent centre for a visit to this region.
