Quinta dos Piscos

Beautiful location in the vineyards of Barcos. A peaceful rural setting with very spacious, comfortable accommodations and a pool. About a 30-minute drive to Pinhao and the Douro River Valley -- definitely worth the travel time. The staff were very helpful providing breakfast in the morning and with suggestions for local dining options. The vineyard owner offered us a private wine tasting and his ambitions for bringing his lower-alcohol content, small output wines to market. Would highly recommend this Quinta to anyone looking for a relaxing stay in the valley.

The location was beautiful, among the vineyards. The hosts were very responsive accommodating requests for extra coffee and late checkout. The room was immense and the favorite of our trip. Great shower, huge bed that was very comfortable and well appointed.

Het ontbijt is afgepast. Na de eerste dag ontvang je 4 broodjes voor 2 personen en daarmee mag je het doen. De prijs is inclusief ontbijt. En tuurlijk mag je aangeven dat je meer wilt maar dit dient gewoon standaard bij het ontbijt gegeven te worden. Ik vind het ontbijt ondermaats voor de geboden prijs.
