We loved our stay at Quinta de la Rosa! The hotel and the surrounding areas are absolutely beautiful. The property is about 20mins walk from Pinhao, and getting a taxi from the station is recommended if you are coming by train as there is quite a hill. The room was comfortable and well maintained. We were in Amarela which is an annex a 3 min walk away from the main property with it's own pool and living space. There are quite a few hills and step in the property, a buggy service for those with luggage might have been useful so watch out if you have heavy or large luggage. The restaurant and food was excellent, as was breakfast in the morning. Staff were extremely helpful, giving us a tour of the property and all the info we could need!

Book tours and tastings at La Rosa as soon as you book your room as they sell out.
If traveling from Pinhao, I recommend arranging a car before you travel. There is a single uber/bolt driver and he lives outside the area so waits are long. There are many alternative private transfers that you can book but you won’t want to be walking your bags.
The staff and rooms were fantastic. Comfortable bedding and pillow options. The breakfast buffet is everything you need and dinner at the restaurant was wonderful.

Quinta de la Rosa is an amazing place to stay. Everything from the amazing awe-inspiring views, to the helpful, friendly and lovely staff, to the beautiful rooms (we stayed in Amarela 24 and it was gorgeous), to the delicious and highend food and wine, we were blown away. We will stay here again but only longer.
The pools are perfect and we felt so relaxed. The winery is outstanding. I can’t say enough good things. We loved it here!
