Le Bellevue

L’appartement est spacieux, bien conçu et correspond totalement au descriptif. La résidence est très calme et reposante. La piscine est grande et entretenue quotidiennement. La mise à disposition de navette pour accéder au centre-ville est appréciable mais nécessite d’avoir un véhicule car le kilomètre du retour peut être long car belle côte. Les hôtes sont disponibles si besoin.

Le bloc de sortie de la climatisation est sur le balcon. Si climatisation est allumée, il fait bien chaud sur le balcon 😉. Léger bémol mais pas de possibilité de faire autrement.

Logement agréable et silencieux. Le haut de la résidence donne un accès direct au parc des calanques, dans les terres mais avec une vue sur la mer. L'accueil pour la remise des clés est parfait.

La réservation a été faite la veille de notre arrivée ce qui a limité notre interaction sur l'annonce. La piscine est mise en avant sur les photos mais elle est fermée l'hiver et début de printemps (dates non indiqués dans l'annonce), petite déception mais la région permet de se faire plaisir avec d'autres activités.

We will definitely not stay here again. TAKE NOTE: as others have commented, host was very difficult to communicate with, as response time was very slow. You are expected to meet the hosts at a pre-arranged time and if you need flexibility with arrival or departure, this is NOT the place to stay at. You must also stay until they meet you before your departure. Granted, we did not read the fine print that there was a specific check in time and arrived late due to a major traffic accident that blocked all major routes to Cassis. Other things to be aware of: the host left the key for us, but did NOT tell us how to use the key - that it needed to be inserted in buzzer, rather than the keyhole on the door. We could not get in, and had to buzz other neighbors who thankfully let us in, because the host did not respond to our texts. After a 6 hour drive in heat and traffic, arriving at midnight, this was the last thing we needed. In addition, Wi-Fi did not work, the host was unable to help with trouble shooting(also commented by others); no toilet paper - a little strange to us, we would have been prepared had we known; you are in a residential area, so if you have children, you need to keep them quiet in the main hallway areas; no air conditioning - for some, this is not a problem, we happened to arrive on a day that it was 100 degrees F outside.
