About this house rental

Wonderful ocean views await you from this open floor plan chalet style home. Located on the bluff on a quiet cul-de-sac at the corner of Beach Loop and Seabird roads. Surrounded by beautiful pine trees with plenty of parking and a view of the ocean. There is a five minute walk to beach accesses from the north and south of the house, but no private beach access from the house.

The home has two spacious bedrooms plus a loft area and a well-appointed kitchen with a dishwasher for your convenience. The living room and dining rooms are located downstairs with two large sliders for enjoying the ocean view from both areas. A comfortable bench and a writing table is located in the loft for viewing the ocean also. The living room has a comfy large reclining sofa and loveseat. Turn on the electric fireplace and take a nap with one of the soft throws provided. Or watch your favorite movie on the large screen TV. There is also a TV in the upstairs bedroom. A cupboard with games and puzzles is provided for fun time.

Relax or dine on the large deck. Watch and listen to the ocean waves while enjoying the ocean breeze. A grill is provided for your outdoor cooking. A picnic table and outdoor seating is available for your comfort.

Take a walk on the beach where you may have a possibility of viewing whales and seals. Face Rock is rated one of the best whale watching spots on the Oregon coast! Stroll Old Town Bandon or golf our world class golf course. Less than a mile from the horseback riding stables.

A maximum of two well behaved dogs are welcome with a pet fee. Towels are provided for our pet guests.

The sea glass chalet was a perfect place for my family to stay (me, husband, 15yo, and 2 small dogs). The chalet is very charming and perfectly located. Easy to access the beach and old town bandon. The views from the second floor were stunning and I loved hanging out up there, reading, doing yoga, just chilling. I loved all the windows. The outdoor setting area was also nice. Anyway, very charming and cute. Perfect for us. Would definitely recommend.

The Sea Chalet is perfect for a short or even longer stay. The kitchen is good with pots and pans and utensils. Easily accessible and all in all great.

Perfect for our family and fur babies. The house was well stocked with everything we needed for cooking. It also had tons of great books, toys, and games for the kids! We loved having a view of the ocean right from the house, and were able to easily walk to the beach. An easy 5 minute drive into town. Would definitely stay here again!

This little house was adorable! Perfect for adults and teens. It’s cozy and decorated beautifully ! I wouldn’t bring the grandkids too afraid they’d break something, but I’ll definitely return just the adults! If it wasn’t for the neighbors house interference off the back porch it would be the most amazing views! The walk to the beach entrance is so short making daily beach walks easy! The house was the best stocked I’ve ever seen if I was cooking (I personally come for Tony’s Crab Shack) …

No access to beach, no vent to filter out smoke from cooking. Coffe pot needs to be cleaned as the coffee was bitter. Other than only having one shower, it worked out well. Thank you

Nice place…just a couple of suggestions: put different sheets on upstairs bed…bottom sheet doesn’t stay in place. Shower faucet handle is difficult to operate, especially when trying to get warm/hot water. TV remotes should be labeled and their functions listed in home manual. The property manager who came over twice to help with TV was very helpful and pleasant.

Man, what a great spot. The amenities, the full blown kitchen, cute decorations, comfort, and nice little outdoor spaces to view the Great Pacific were what we got and we loved it! We can't wait to go back. Also, the rental manager, Sam, was incredible. He really knows what he is doing. We highly recommend this place. It would be perfect for a family.

I was able to wake to the sound of the ocean and enjoy walking the beach at sunset. About a 15 minute drive to Bandon Dunes and less to Bandon Crossing. Great property for golfing if you don't want to stay at Bandon Dunes. Highly recommended.

We brought our son and his girlfriend to Bandon for their first time. We had stayed in this property last year and, because it is dog-friendly, we chose it again. Very spacious and well equipped. Walking distance to beach access and the famous rocks. Highly recommended.

Great location and views. Easy access to beautiful beaches (a few blocks away). Well stocked. However, the house needs a deep clean. The windows did not seem to have been cleaned for a while? or maybe there was a recent storm. For the price charged per night, the place should be cleaned better. If that was better, this would be a great place to revisit.

We stayed for three days at the Sea Chalet right on the coast in Bandon. It was a beautiful home, very nicely decorated and quiet. We could hear the waves from the shore and had a very nice view. Our contact with the property manager was pleasant and simple. This definately beats a hotel stay! Located through Vrbo properties.

We very much enjoyed our stay. There were only two of us, but the home could easily accommodate 4 or 5. The architecture is “funky” but the interior very attractively and creatively laid out. We would definitely recommend it and would stay here again.

Very cute house with fantastic views close to the beach It was not clear in the listing that you didn’t have direct beach access from the house but otherwise everything was fantastic. Also all of the rules and the chores we’re a little much to make you wonder what the cleaning fee is for. Overall a beautiful place though

We stayed for a week in June and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The house had everything we needed and was very clean and comfortable. The views were beautiful, and it was an easy walk to the beach access. We also used the deck and patio often. Thank you for a great trip.

Perfect beach bungalow for pets and people. We enjoyed this comfy, cozy place with a great layout and awesome deck. Great side patio with picnic table where we enjoyed our morning coffee in the sun. Beach access is close and easy. Manager showed up immediately to help us with issue upon our arrival.

Loved the Sea Glass Chalet! The house is cute and cozy with excellent views of the ocean and had everything we needed. Plenty of blankets, towels, kitchen is well stocked and we even found popcorn to make while we enjoyed movies at night. Our 13 year old loved the loft. Would definitely return and hope to in the future!

It's good to know that anyone in the downstairs bedroom hears all walking around upstairs (on our second night we put our kiddo upstairs so we didn't wake them up as easily). Easy walk to the beach, friendly neighbors. Cons: not great shower water pressure (not horrific though), pilling on sheets made for slightly uncomfortable sleep. Pros: great communication from Sam, nice views, good location, clean, decently stocked kitchen for equipment, and overall very relaxing. We'll keep it on our Bandon list for sure.

The Sea Glass Chalet is such a cute house - well-maintained, comfortable, and with a great kitchen. They had a binder filled with info about the property, local places and activities, even local laws you might need to know - it was really great. Beach access was a short walk, and the upstairs view ensured we didn't miss a good sunrise or sunset. Our group of 4 adults and our dogs had a great stay!

Our stay was awsome. Views we beautiful. Face rock is one mile north we watched circles in the sand. Such a beautiful thing to observe and walk through. The neighbor was not friendly constantly watching us and freaking out about our dogs.
