About this house rental

By the Sea vacation rental is a fully furnished, three bedroom, 2,800 sq. ft., custom-built home with skylights and vaulted ceilings. It has a great unobstructed ocean view and easy beach access across the street. And that beach is THE beach where Circles in the Sand events take place.

The main floor includes a formal living and dining room with ocean views, a large kitchen, a family room with a wood stove, a half bathroom, a utility room with washer and dryer, and a bonus room. The second story has two full bathrooms and three bedrooms. The master bedroom has a king bed and full bath with an ocean view and soaking tub. The other bedrooms each have a queen bed.

The house has a double car garage, patio, large backyard and a south facing deck for great sunsets, high-speed Internet access, Wi-Fi, cable TV, a stereo, dishwasher and phone with free local calls.

Some special features of the house include By the Sea owner and Oregon artist Bill Kelsay's art throughout the house, room for everyone to have their own space, playroom/game room with lots of space, swivel rockers with ocean view, and a kitchen equipped to cook Thanksgiving dinner for 6.

We love this house and we know you will love it, too. Many return renters refer to it as "their beach house."

Would give this place 10 stars if I could. Location is perfect, right across from Face Rock. House is large and has 3 different seating areas, and comes stocked with details (high chairs, books, music, games, etc). The whole family was super impressed and we had a wonderful time there.

House had everything you’d need and was well stocked with kitchen supplies for cooking your own meals. We cooked one dinner and all of our breakfasts. Beds were very comfortable, clean and had extra pillows and blankets. Bathrooms had nice thick, soft towels with extras available, hairdryers and even curing irons. Extras of most everything. Furnishings were nice and in good condition, nice collection of tasteful beach themed art throughout the house. Easy and convenient access to the beach! We brought our kites but we discovered there were 3 in the garage, along with sand toys (pails, shovels etc)! The only issue we had was in the 2nd bath, the hand held water wand broke, we fixed it temporarily with rubber bands but called to let them know and they were very responsive. There were a few minor things that might need some extra attention if a person was actually living there but overall the house was in great condition given that it’s a rental with so many individuals coming and going. I would highly recommend this rental and would definitely rent this house again. We had 5 adults in our party and we found it very comfortable for the four nights we were there.

This house was huge. It had everything we needed except room in the kitchen cupboards to store our food. This seems to be the trend. The house does need a lot of .aintenance and the yard needs lots of work.

We came to Brandon to attend a wedding. The house worked out great for us. The location just across the street from the beach with easy access was perfect. Everything you could need was available in the house. We would like to have a mattress or two updated but they were OK. We would absolutely stay again.

Wonderful vacation home and excellent host! The fully equiped house had everyhing we needed, they even went and bought box fans for each room when we inquired about them the night before our stay. Lots of living spaces for our 3 generations to stretch out. The kids enjoyed the toys as well. The location is perfect, you cannot get any closer access to Face Rock and we enjoyed attending the Circles in the Sand events. Short drive to downtown Bandon as well - we went to Tonys Crab Shack several times.

We had a great stay at the beach with ideal weather…house was perfect location right across from Face Rock with close access to beach. Beds were comfortable, kitchen well stocked, plenty of towels and soap. Upstairs bathroom had a very slow draining sink, otherwise everything was good👍

This place was flat out phenomenal. Thank you to the owners for sharing your home with us. This house is deceivingly large with the most comfortable furniture of any house we've ever been in. It'd be a great house in any setting, but the view and location make this a 5+ star house. Walk across the street and you are overlooking one of the most beautiful beaches in Oregon. Walk down the steps and you are on it. Our kids spent hours exploring the tidepools and climbing on the rocks. We went into Bandon for some grub, did some clamming in Coos Bay, explored Shore Acres, and rode horses on the beach through Bandon Stables, but honestly we'd have been just as happy staying in and right around the house. Couldn't have been happier! You won't regret renting here!

Perfect location directly across from a perfect beach with rock formations, plenty of sand, tidal pools...everything you could want! Historic downtown Bandon is just steps away with plenty of cute restaurants and shopping. This home was perfect for our spring break trip--it could use some updating, but we were very comfortable and the location can't be beat!
