Welcome to Casa Azul, between two of the oldest and most typical neighborhoods in the Center of Lisbon: ALFAMA and MOURARIA
Casa Azul offers you an exceptional view on several viewpoints of the city center, it is close to BAIXA and a stone's throw from Castelo de São Jorge.
Casa Azul is a duplex apartment located on the 3rd floor of a typical Mouraria building, and completely refurbished but without elevator.
Its calm will assure you a total rest. It has 3 bedrooms combining Portuguese tradition and modernity, with double beds. All linens are provided.

Antibacterial household cleaners for vacationers
The kitchen is fully equipped: oven and hob, washing machine, dishwashing machine, microwave, fridge, small appliances, dishes….
You can also relax in the lounge (music, television, videos, books, etc.), where you can dine or have breakfast as a family. You will find maps, flyers of the main tourist sites to visit, need to go to the tourist office.
Casa Azul is less than 5 minutes' walk from public transport: tram No. 28 (the famous Lisbon electric train), metro MARTIN MONIZ, green line, going to CAIS DO SODRE station (Metro , bus, tram, trains for the rest of the country and the beach, boats for crossing the Tagus, walks and cruises, all types of rental companies…).
You are immediately in the heart of the Alfama district like that of Mouraria to visit the typical shops.
In 15 minutes on foot you will be at the National Pantheon and at the Feira da Ladra, the famous Lisbon flea market, and in the evening you will find the typical Portuguese restaurants with their fado singers.
Only 10 minutes on foot are necessary to reach the Baixa district in the city center which will lead you to the shopping district of Chiado and that of Bairo Alto, one of the lively nocturnal districts to distract you in the evening.

Casa Azul is declared to the Alojamento Local service of Lisbon. We will ask you to provide us with certain information regarding your identity, date and place of birth, as well as your place of residence. The apartment does not have air conditioning at this time.
The apartment does not have air conditioning, only gas and electric heating. Do not expect to have a temperature of 23º in winter.
In addition, the electrical power is quite low due to the age of the building, be careful not to use several electrical appliances at the same time.

The property is in a great location for access to local cafes, shops and bars. Its a short walk to the Metro and other modes of transport. The appartment was clean and comfortable and a great base for getting around Lisbon.Beware of all the hilly streets though when it comes to getting luggage to appartment.We had a very enjoyable stay and made some great memories.

Though the apartment was beautiful and had the essentials, the lack fans was a huge problem. We could not get the apartment cool enough even with leaving the shutters closed all day and windows open at night. A better description and number of stairs would have been helpful. We found the stairs narrow and somewhat steep.

This apartment is in an amazing location where we were able to walk easily to different neighborhoods or access public transportation. The owner provided excellent instructions and the place was spotless upon arrival. The only issue we encountered was that it was difficult to cool the place down on the hotter days - especially the upstairs bedroom as the apartment is not air conditioned. A lovely space with all you need for a great stay.

The apartment is very spacious with three bedrooms and plenty of room to relax. It was a short walk to various key locations and landmarks. The place was clean and the check in process with the owner was very easy. However, it was unfortunate that one bedroom was leaking and we had to put a pot to keep the floor from getting wet. It did not make for a good night's sleep. The power continually went out. Yes there was a sign not to use two items at a time. However, cooking was made difficult when you could not use the stove and oven simultaneously. Even when you had just the kettle on, the power went out. If these issues could be fixed, this place would be amazing.
