Spectacular Shiskine

Absolutely everything was fantastic! From the location - to the super comfortable dreamy mattress we could not fault our holiday! The apartment is a short drive into Gairloch which has all the local amenities you could require, it has great routes with access to the A832 which lends itself to the NC500 hot spots. The apartment was absolutely stunning. It honestly felt like a home away from home. My husband and I felt so comfortable there it was like staying at our own second home - the facilities were clean and Mark and Maria were both welcoming and accommodating hosts. We loved it! Thank you!

The cottage was in a great location. It was spotless and had everything you needed and more. The views from the cottage were spectacular and waking up to them in the morning was amazing. Wifi signal was great if needed. The rooms were cosy and a great size. Only wish it hadn't been as wet but it didn't spoil our stay.

A lovely apartment in a very rural setting.

The loft apartment is very well decorated and furnished. The owners live below and are on hand if you want any assistance, but are not at all intrusive. The location is very rural and peaceful with spectacular views. We loved the museum at Gairloch and would highly recommend a visit.

You need to be aware that the nearest village is 7 miles away along a single track road. So, if you like to be away from it all this is a great place for you, but if you want to go out for dinner it's a long drive!

Heaven beneath clouds

The location , the bedrooms and the most comfortable pocket spring beds , the privacy and the most wonderful owners Maria the florist and Mark the geologist ! Them two are so nice and calm individuals who cares but not intrusive ! All the facilities are there including washing machine and washing powder capsules. Very coo pliant with Covid -19 regulations. The two bedrooms are named after the islands seen by the horizon. The moment you enter Skye bed room you feel that you entered a luxury cruise liner top deck bed room with turquoise blue water hitting your eyes . I cursed the luxury Egyptian cotton bedding being pure white . Ideal for honeymooners in the most scenic location in Britain by the sea . The most picturesque sunset we have ever seen was here. You see the silhouette of outer Hebrides isles Lewis and Harris painting a picture worth perusal of Rembrandt or John Constable ! Out of the world !!!

Nothing none what so ever ! The only thing was the ususal intruders late in the evening to pick on bird feed , the heard of deer were hiding during the time we were there.

Everything! What a perfect, quiet location, with amazing views to Skye and the Western Isles. Short walk to the beach. Lovely outdoor area with bench and table. Everything you need in the apartment. Friendly hosts. Lots to do in the local area in terms of walking, climbing, kayaking & wildlife. Can't wait to come back!

The thick, heavy duvet was a bit warm for this time of year. Perfect for winter but we stayed during a bit of a heatwave.

The location and views are stunning. Mark and Maria are great hosts.

We knew from when we booked what the key procedure was. On arrival we were welcomed very warmly. Mark, our host remained outside as everything had been disinfected as per Covid19 procedure. Mark explained to us how they can be reached during our stay, just in case we needed something. We had requested a slightly earlier check in, which they happily obliged to, as in November it gets dark very early. The apartment is value for money and everything has been done with loving care.

There is nothing to remark on. We liked everything, it was a perfect break for us. Mark and Maria took care about everything we needed for this short break.
