It was like staying with a friend.

I had the best sleep of my 8-day holiday at the Boat House. The bed was so comfortable, the room and shared bathroom were very clean and tidy.
The host was also lovely, friendly and chatty. I'd definitely stay there again!

The owner was friendly and informative and set out the sidetable with good quality crockery - not plastic mugs. It was a quiet place and next to a loch. The bed was very comfortable. It is a great place as an overnight stay. The wifi was very good.
The room was set up as well as it could have been but there was only room for one chair. The bed takes up about 3/4 of the room. It is not somewhere to stay in if it is a rainy day.

It was available as a last minute option.
The room and bathroom are small and full of the owner’s personal effects. The shared bathroom could be cleaner.
