Overall very enjoyable

Location is fantastic The room was cool even in really hot weather. Security was very good. Though very small, clean towels were readily available.

No change of bedding in 10 nights. No maid attendance of any kind, so rubbish had to be disposed of by the occupant and room cleanliness was again down to the individual.

A wonderful break in a fantastic apartment in a beautiful little town!

This is a lovely place to stay! We had the sea view studio which is very comfortable and well equipped. The kitchen has all you might need although we ate out and just used the fridge to keep drinks cool. Katerina and Kristina were very helpful. The apartment's door opens onto the promenade and it is only a few metres walk to the crystal clear water's edge with a few steps down to the shingly shore. Restaurants and bars are within a very short walk. I would say that this is the best located place to stay in the whole of Cavtat.

There wasn't anything that I didn't like! The church bells were quite loud although it was probably time to get up anyway!

Little piece of heaven in a beautiful village

Perfect location in a beautiful village. Have stayed here in the past as just ideal and no fuss, court yard lovely with all the facilities you require and so handy for closeness to absolutely everything. One of our favourite destinations and a little piece of Heaven.. Kathrina, whom we met on arrival and departure just lovely

Beds extremely hard but everything else we love about it. Kathrina and Michaela, who we dealt with throughout, were so accommadating, kind, patient and just lovely to deal wth. Overall excellent and could not fault, have often and will absolutely continue to recommend and will most definitely return 👍

Taking into account that it’s a former monastery , the room was rather gloomy, not helped that one of the kitchen lights was not working. There was no plug for the bathroom sink.

Excellent location, could not be better. Correspondence with myself and the host prior to arrival was very efficient and helpful.

All three WiFi options didn’t work. The beds were supplied with the thinnest sheet that didn’t cover the surface area of the mattress making it impossible to make the bed. We stayed for a week and the room was never cleaned or the “bedding” changed

Charming. Just perfect. As a solo traveller, I felt very safe too.

Very cute accommodation in a fantastic location. Opening the window shutters in the morning to see crystal clear water and the first yachts sailing by - utterly charming! The monastery also hosts small, intimate classical concerts in their courtyard next door - very atmospheric.

Tranquillity and privacy with immediate access to the sea

The location was perfect with a 3 metre stroll directly into the sea but also with its own private courtyard. It was tranquil and sociable with just a few other guests staying

When I come back the only thing I would need to bring are a fitted sheet for the mattress as I was not able to make the bed so the flat sheet stayed in position

Lovely stay at a serene monastery, peaceful and quiet, perfect for older couples.

Just loved staying at the location at the end of town away from the hustle and bustle of the restaurants and bars. The room was simple but clean and could enjoy a lovely enclosed courtyard. Door opens to a beautiful view of the sea. Cavtat is a hidden gem.

The perfect location for a stay in Cavtat

Checking in and out was fast and easy. Location is perfect! View from bedroom was lovely and the shower was great! Access to the outdoor kitchen was really handy for preparing lunch.

While the beds themselves were very comfortable, the mattress sheets didn’t fit well so came off at night and had to be remade each morning. Floor was quite dusty.

The location was excellent overlooking the sea and within easy walking distance of restaurants and other facilities in the town!

I was a bit worried about the stray cats as they approached the door everytime I came in or went out but I think it was probably because previous guests had fed them! They were extremely well nourished and as soon as they realised I wasn't going to feed them they went elsewhere!

A gem of a place in the most beautiful location

Lovely accommodation, right on the beach and minutes walk from lovely bars/cafes/restaurants. It was quaint but had everything that was needed, I.e. air conditioning, good shower, kitchen facilities and comfortable beds. The location is amazing and we will definitely be back!

Superb

A unique place in a great location. The room was simple but had everything you need. It had air conditioning and a refrigerator and TV. A very large and comfortable bathroom. Also available was a shared kitchen where pleasantly overlooking the walls of the monastery you could prepare a meal. Directly at the entrance was the beach and further stretched the promenade. Excellent location. The apartment was quiet but located in the center of Cavtat. Communication with the owners was very efficient and their response always fast. It is really worth stopping here

Beautiful rooms in front of the sea!

Me and my wife booked a double room for 7 nights. We felt from the first contact after the booking how friendly and helpful are the people who take care of the rooms. The rooms belong to a Franciscan monastery which is next door and the people who take care of the rooms are living next door, too. Katarina, Kristina, Fr. Ilja, Josip and all the team are amazing and so helpful. The rooms are in front of the sea. They are clean and refurbished made of stone. Our room was quite small but cozy. It has an airconditioning, a fridge, a nice wardrobe and a nice and spacious bathroom with a shower. The garden has a stove with all the utensils ( pans, pots etc ) where you can cook, It has a big table with a bench and chairs under a wooden canopy and several smaller round tables with chairs some of them under parasol umbrellas. The entrance door is 5 meters from the sea. Our room had garden view and was so quiet. The scenery around the rooms is so beautiful and serene. All the team was so helpful and kind. Cavtat is a beautiful place! The airport from the rooms is 10 minutes by taxi. Everything was fantastic.

No balcony or sun terrace only garden enclosed . No window or view . We asked to move and we weren’t allowed to saying room next door was taken . When in fact two families had it that week . We could have had the better room and would have upgraded . The room we had was clean but VERY BASIC.

Great value for money

Amazing location. Great for exploring the whole of Cavtat, fabulous restaurants a stones throw away and right next to a platform where you could swim safely in the sea. Great value for money however I would gladly have paid more for working aircon and a comfier bed!

We were three sharing one room with one set of keys, as well as the room key there was a key to the outside door. The outside door was locked and so if one person wanted to leave it meant somebody having to go with them and locking the door behind them, a key pad would be better. Beds very uncomfortable, could feel the springs, noisy and too firm. Air con did not work correctly, we were there during a heat wave so we were quite uncomfortable at night. The shower leaked continually, a mop was provided. No curtains at the windows (just thin voile) which meant the street light outside our window shone in my face all night, I ended up trying to sleep with my head at the foot end of the bed. All sounds terrible but actually we loved the location so much most of this was acceptable, especially for the cost.
