Seki Cave Hotel, Wake Up to Hot Air Balloons

The rooms were so spacious, and the hotel really gave us the vibe and experience we paid for. The balloon view was the best, and overall, the location was great too!

Everything is wonderful. The location, the rooms, the staff and the breakfast are all exceptional. We woke up to balloons surrounding us, it was magical. We could walk to the top of the property and see spectacular views at sunrise and sunset. Our breakfasts were a local feast and a highlight of the day. The staff were incredibly helpful and kind. Our room was spacious and clean and quiet. We loved the location away from other busier areas. The balloon viewing was truly the biggest surprise though!

Our primary motivation for booking this hotel was the rooftop access and how gorgeous it appeared in the photos. It looked fantastic in the photos. We were informed that it was undergoing renovations when we arrived. It was not mentioned at all when making the reservation. Although there are hotels in the area that provide similar services, we decided against it because Seki's offerings were outstanding. However, it was the complete opposite. Since it wasn't disclosed when I made the reservation, I was actually very disappointed. It didn't seem like a very good deal for the money. Breakfast is very good. If youre a fan on breads, like me, youll have everything in there. They also serve hot meals , you just need to ask the waiter to cook it for you Although I believe it could be better, overall, it is still a pleasant experience. I want to thank the staff for being very kind and accommodating.

Pros - very welcoming staff. The receptionist at that time, forgot his name, was very nice and accommodating - 24/7 reception - Room is very big, the toilet alone can be a room - has a fantastic view of mountains - If you go at the 3rd floor and go up the hill, youll have amazing view of hot air balloons. You can even have a close up view at the balloons in the morning. It also has caves that you can view and good for picture taking. - If youre like me who loves peace and quiet, this is the right place. Cons - 15 minutes from center. Everytime we need to eat we have to go to the center and take a taxi. Uber is working but it will only take cash. A taxi fare could be between 300-350 lira ( 6 pounds ) from Seki Cave to town. You must have cash with you all the time to pay for taxis. - The hotel is situated on a hill, so if you have large bags, make sure you have enough strength to lift them. Some taxis would go up and take you to the hotel's main entrance, while others wouldn't. When we got to the bus station, the cab wouldn't go up, so we had to push our bags. If you book a tour with pick up, They will ask you to go downhill cause they cant go up.
