Antique Terrace Cave Suites

The location was excellent—very close to town and offering beautiful views. The cave room felt authentic and gave us a wonderful experience. The breakfast each morning was delicious, with a great selection of traditional local dishes. Overall, it was a memorable stay and a great place to experience Cappadocia.

The door is old and the lock is very trick to open. Room feels dusty but it might be how the cave hotel works.

Antique Terrace Cave Suites is ideally located, just a short walk from the centre of Goreme and in an elevated position providing fantastic views over Goreme to the hills beyond. The cave rooms are a truly authentic experience. We had the suite with balcony which provided a wonderful, shady place to sit and take in the vista or the early morning balloon flights which were spectacular, sometimes flying low and directly over the hotel. Antique Terrace Cave Suites is a family run hotel and so operates at a relaxed pace with friendly hosts. No air conditioning – not needed Internet: ‘Fast’ (16.6Mbps down/3.5Mbps up) – provided walls weren’t in the way Nice desk area Quiet room Large walk-in shower with quick hot water and good pressure Room traditionally decorated Varied breakfast A large rock tower opposite is currently undergoing stabilisation work and is covered in scaffolding. It’s great to see the towers being looked after and there was no noise from the works, so no problem other than a little unsightly.

A couple of very minor things only: Bed a little 'creaky' - could do with tightening up Dated and worn bedspread
