Great place to stay and a beautifully quiet neighbourhood walking distance to a large very good mall.

We had the smallest room which made it a bit tight with large luggage.

Very comfortable bed and decent bathroom. Helena was very helpful and even offered me some food as the weather was terrible and not pleasant to go out.

Lovely hostess :) Comfy stay. I'd just suggest - electric blankets for winter? - a front facing light for make up

- breakfast felt a bit overpriced for what one gets - however I understand the cost of service included - the only complaint was the cold in bed despite using the heater - would suggest the option of electric blanket or blanket on the mattress under mattress protector trick - cold bathroom floors - perhaps an extra mat in winter? As the only one provided gets wet from the shower spray. - the noise from neighbouring units' water works was a bit disruptive, otherwise lovely.

Extremely pleasant atmosphere, think homely, with a very warm reception. Perfect amenities, cosy and comfortable. Very suitable location for Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens or anything in the Newlands/Claremont area.

Exceptional Stay!

Exceptional Stay! The simple rating system of 1-10 just doesn’t do justice to this lovely property and the incredible experience I had during my stay. In Cape Town, location and security are paramount, and this B&B excels in both areas! Nestled in a quiet & leafy cul-de-sac in a prestige area, the property boasts top-notch security while being conveniently located near all the amenities in the southern suburbs. It's just minutes away from Constantia Valley, Newlands, and Kirstenbosch, and also offers easy access to the highway, making the airport, Muizenberg, and the city or Waterfront easily reachable. One of the highlights of my stay was the wonderful open shared area, complete with a lovely dining space in a private, leafy courtyard—perfect for those warm evenings!I stayed for nearly three weeks, and I can honestly say that 23 Grace was a standout part of my trip. Helena, the host, is flexible, warm, and incredibly friendly, supported by her wonderful staff and Maddie, the adorable dog who was always there to greet me when I returned. I can confidently say that 23 Grace will always be at the top of my list for my next visit to Cape Town!

I absolutely loved my stay at 23 Grace. Both the host were extremely welcoming, friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend staying at 23 Grace. My room was very comfortable and had a lovely layout.

A place I'd love to come back to.

The guest house is lovely in ppl and interior. Absolutely spotless, with a lovely we dog who welcomes any guest. Facilities are perfect you've got WiFi and nightstand lamps that will not be effected by load shedding. It is a quite location and to my feelings safe, regardless the proper has all safety alamrms and precautions one could wish for. The rooms itself was clean and cosy. The breakfast was lovely. Depending on what you like Helena is happy to chat or leave you to you me-time. It was absolutely lovely, I'd stay there again next time round. Thank you

Very welcoming

Lovely greeting by owner. We hadnt booked breakfast but she kindly made us toast and honey. We booked Claremont as it is easy to get to the airport in the mornings. Lots of hot water and fruit in a bowl. Fluffy towels.

Bed a bit bouncy , when one turned over the other bounced out. I am used to larger, firmer beds. A feather pillow would been nice.. Rooms quite small but the living area is large. No space in bathroom to put washbag - a shelf would help.

Amazing friendly host during my second stay. Such a beautiful place, home away from home. Love the garden, so pretty and tranquil. Because it was my second stay, there was paid attention to details I've mentioned in my first stay (window open for fresh air, extra shampoo) so sweet and an amazing eye for detail to make you 100% comfortable.

Wonderful host and beautiful property

Helena was a wonderful host. She greeted me warmly and made me feel welcome right away. The check-in process was quick and easy. The property was beautiful and clean, and the room was comfortable and luxurious. I especially appreciated the full-length mirror, which was very convenient. I also had access to a tidy and fully equipped kitchen, and I really appreciated the complimentary water in the room, fruit, and milk .

Hostess is very helpful and lovely, house is equipped with what you need for busy business trips and well priced, rooms are comfortable, bed is amazing! Lovely bathroom, fresh milk for tea in the morning which is a big plus for me 😊. Easy access and well located. Uber finds it easily and Mr D delivers dinner quickly.
