A beautiful, relaxing and conveniently-located stay with the warmest of hosts.

This is our second stay at Hillingdale. We loved the calm oasis of the lovely, quiet garden flat after a day of visiting our favourite places in Cape Town. The location is perfect for reaching the beaches, Kirstenbosch, and the City Bowl. Tess and Steve are the best hosts and, with their excellent staff, all made us feel very welcome.

Lovely place! The cottage has all you need, and the lush garden is a great place to relax. Near Constantia, Cape Town and the Cape Peninsula. Tess and Steve are very kind hosts and do everything to make you feel at home. We would definitely come back here! Thanks!

Tessa, the host was friendly, helpful and went out of her way to help make our stay in Cape Town as easy and comfortable as possible. Absolutely lovely accommodation. Comfortable, large beds with really lovely linen. Beautifully decorated and clean with everything you could need.

Lovely safe stay at Hillingdale

I loved my stay at Hillingdale. As a single female traveller I felt safe, even when I got home late in the evening. I had an emergency late one night and the host was happy to help. The unit I stayed in was spacious, well decorated and clean. The whole vibe of the place was really nice and I would definatley stay here again.

Tess and Steve are the loveliest hosts, they make you feel like home. The bed is so comfortable, the room is large with beautiful daylight coming through. I would definitely come back.

Perfect stay for in Cape Town, it was a pleasure staying with the hostesses

The hostesses Steve and Tess were so warm and friendly, they made us feel very welcome. Lovely people! Our suite was very comfortable and the clean, the garden is stunning. Just really nice!! We found the location was great for us because we wanted to stay a bit more outside the centre. Ubers made it easy to move around Cape Town.

A nice stay for a quick and tranquil getaway.

Tranquil environment and setting, Tess and Steve were great hosts who made us feel welcomed and comfortable, taking seriously our minor requests. I appreciated the garden and the ability to pick our own herbs. Was a unique touch.

The pool wasn't well maintained as expected and I had to clean it myself and request more attention to it. The room was a little smaller than expected and there were mismatches from what booking.com described in the facilities. But we made it work in the end.

It was relaxing and peaceful - loved it.

It was tranquil, quiet and leafy green. Our rooms were private and you didnt feel as though you were in a busy city. The beds and furnishings were very comfortable and we wished we had booked a longer stay.

The location was perfect and the view breath taking!

We loved it all. If there is something to mention I would say the MNet channels were not activated and it would be nice to have a list of nearby restaurants or take away places, as it was really hard to find a place. (suggestion) But this experience has nothing to do with the stay! It was beautiful!

a bit too much traffic noise in our room above the garage. the other rooms wouldn’t have this issue.
