Der Empfang der Eigentümer und deren Gastfreundlichkeit ist einfach einmalig! Sehr herzlich, großzügig und hilfsbereit. Es gab Wein, Olivenöl, Schränke und Kühlschrank voller Essen. Sogar ein Frühstück wurde uns am ersten Tag an das Haus gebracht. Während unseres Aufenthaltes wurden wir auch durchgehend mit Wasser versorgt. die Unterkunft ist großartig. 1500 qm toller Garten mit Orangen- und Zitronenbäumen. Die Unterkunft ist optimal für eine Familie mit Kindern. In 3 Gehminuten erreicht man das Meer, wo entspannte und gepflegte Strände sind (auch für Kinder sehr geeignet), zudem eine Eisdiele und Bar, des weiteren Restaurants (die waren allerdings Anfang März noch geschlossen). In 10 bis 15 Minuten Autofahrt kann man in der Umgebung tolle Orte entdecken (historische Städte, Naturreservat etc.). Wir wollen auf jeden Fall wieder kommen.

We konden het huisje niet direct vinden. De eigenaar van de plaatselijke Bodega was zo vriendelijk voor ons de eigenaar te bellen, die ons vervolgens binnen 20 minuten kwam ophalen. Het was een warm onthaal. Hij had de hele koelkast voor ons gevuld, evenals wijn, vruchtensap en 12 flessen water voor ons klaargezet. Het is een knus vrijstaand huisje, gelegen in een mooie tuin met citroen-, sinasappel bomen. In Lido di Noto was het begin mei nog erg rustig. De steden in de omgeving Noto, Modica, Avola, Seracuse zijn daarentegen heel levendig en het bezoeken waard vanwege de vele monumenten.

Wir nutzten das sehr schön gelegene Ferienhaus im November. Sehr freundlicher Empfang durch Fam. Fronte. Wir sind noch nie so gut versorgt worden wie in diesem Domizil. Sogar alle grundlegend benötigten Lebensmittel für die Anfangstage waren im Kühlschrank bereitgestellt - einschließlich leckerer Dolce!
Wir sind auch während der Ferientage bestens, aber unaufdringlich, durch die Frontes betreut worden.
In fünf Minuten Gehentfernung ein schöner Strand. Dort auch Strandcaffees, die abends geöffnet waren, aber nicht mehr täglich. Einkaufsmöglichkeit in der Nähe, war im November aber geschlossen. Gute Einkaufsmöglichkeiten im nahen Avola.
Das Haus selbst sehr gemütlich eingerichtet, Küche wirklich komplett.
Gut gelegen für Ausflüge von Syracus bis Modica und im ganzen Südosten der Insel.
Wir haben uns (im November!!) dort sehr wohl gefühlt.
Gilt für die ganze Gegend: Mückenschutz für die Haut nicht vergessen.

Das Häuschen ist echt schnuckelig und hat einen tollen Zitronengarten. Der Gastgeber Corrado hat uns mit einem gut gefüllten Kühlschrank und einer Flasche Nero d Avola empfangen. Wow! Wo es gibt es schon so etwas? Das Häuschen ist gut gepflegt und die Terasse zum Zitronengarten hin ist einfach der Hammer. Wir hatten einen tollen Urlaub und wenn es das nächste mal nach Sizilien geht dann mit Sicherheit wieder hierher. Grazie Corrado!
