House only 700 feet from fantastic sand beach (look at the pictures), located in Santa Maria del Focallo, Ispica Mare (prov. Ragusa - Italy), resort awared Blue Flag and Green Flag (sea ancd beach clean - baby friendly beach) by FEE (Foundation for Enviromental Education).
Nearby there are only other holiday homes, the countryside and the sea.
Mini market, tobacco shop, bar and restaurants just a couple of minutes from the house.
The house consists of:
- 1 bedroom with double bed;
- 2 small bedrooms;
- Main bathroom (toilet, sink, bidet and bathtub);
- Secondary bathroom (toilet and sink)
- outside shower room;
- Large veranda with table and chairs;
- Living room with open plan kitchen;
- Terrace overlooking the sea and the countryside;
- Spacious ground;
- n. 3 parking;
- burglar alarm system.
- ceiling fans in the bedrooms
The house does not have a heating system for the winter
Ideally located to visit the most important towns of the "Val di Noto" ("Ragusa Ibla", "Modica Bassa", "Scicli", "Noto", ecc.), part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site for its baroque buildings.
Ideally located also to visit Siracusa, famous for its beautifull Greek Theater and other archaeological sites dating from Greek times.
It is located to go on excursions to the mount Etna (140 km), to the “Valle dei Templi” in Agrigento (140 km).
Airports distances:
- Catania Fontanarossa km 115 (90% highway)
- Comiso V. Bellini km 75
The port of Pozzallo is 17 km far, and it has many links with Malta by ferries.

we stay first week of may,,was worm enough but windy.....villa located close to the sea,,100metres and quiet around...nearest neighbours across road////was first visit sicilia and blow out mind,,,awesome

Perfect location: the house is 200m from a sandy beach normally not overcrowded (OK on ferragosto, 15/8, there were lots of people but it is a bank holiday) and 500 m from a beautiful cove with sea caves and lots of snorkelling opportunities (and this was not even crowded at the weekends). It is also a convenient exploration point for the South-East corner of Sicily, heart of the Sicilian Baroque (Noto, Ragusa Ibla, Ispica, Modica, Scicli... ), the Montalbano places and unique sites like the Vendicari nature reserve and Pantalica.
Relaxing and homely: with three energetic boys I always worry about practical aspects... this house had it all: plenty of space for the washing and pegs (I had brought a few just in case), lots of plastic dinnerware and lots of kitchen utensils (again I brought some essentials in case – not needed), robust BBQ, built-in / sheltered outside shower. There is no kettle (a challenge for tea lovers like us), microwave or toaster. The TV is tiny but working well (unlike previous houses we had) and with a USB-ready digital box.
Safe: it has a clever alarm system, an electric gate, ample easy parking and lots of private outdoor space.

Roomy, fully fitted and furnished, very clean.
Quite remote, so a car is essential.
The one downside - the grounds that it is set in are very harsh - no plants, and mesh fencing, resulted in a prison compound feel to the villa. Please Please plant it up it would look great.
