I Balconi sul Barocco

Very spacious - much larger than the pictures represent. Guiseppe did a great job orienting us on the stove, washing machine, garage, everything we needed to know for our stay. We did cook while there and the induction stove was awesome. Guiseppe also checked in on us during our stay to ensure we had everything we needed. The linens were clean and comfortable. Great location for walking around the Modica Bassa area.

it was a little noisy at night,but to be fare we were there on a weekend.

Apartment was spacious, Bathrooms were updated. Location excellent. It was easy to contact the owner via Whatsapp.

Some of the furnishings were too "vintage" and need updating. Our biggest problem related to the fact that we were very early in the season (March 17-23) and the apartment was simply cold despite good heaters in the bedrooms and dining room. The biggest issue was the kitchen which had no heat and was just frigid. The induction cooktop was hard to operate and provided no warmth to the room from cooking. There were minor issues like no multi-outlet so that the toaster and the microwave could be plugged in at the same time.

The location was good and the host was nonintrusive and available for any questions. The internet was not good and they came over right away to see if they could fix but once connected again it kept dropping and I was not able to do work that I needed to get done but we appreciated the effort. The view from two of the bedrooms was nice (see photo)

The Internet connection was not good, they need to upgrade service.! The kitchen was not heated (January) and was very cold in the mornings when making coffee and breakfast. The living room was very dark and had poor lighting. Beds were not comfortable (twin beds put together to form larger size) and had heavy stiff blankets and pillows.
