Central, clean, comfortable and enjoyable stay.

Location excellent, close to where we needed to be. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was plentiful and tasty. Comfort and cleanliness were great too. Bonus to have the market in the square opposite on Monday morning. Spent a lovely couple of hours wandering around it. Also close to the tram stop for the coastal tram which was a lovely way to see the coast right down to De Panne.

Our stay was good, the hotel was functional and clean. Parking was close by which was a bonus and the hotel was really central too.

Location & Staff

The room wasn't clean, wholes in the wall all over, dirt sticking to the floor & the window didn't close. Luckily it wasn't particularly cold outside. Also the reception wasn't covered in the evening. The toilet seat was way to small for the toilet itself, so you had to basically sit on the porcelain. Not nice

Service at the highest level !

Let me thank you once again for you flexibility and help! I booked a room and did not notice I could not check in till 8 pm. But really nice gentleman from reception organised the change so that I could pay in another hotel, but still sleep in the hotel Cavalli , without losing money. Thank you, you saved our stress and it was really nice. Hotel - very close to the beach, parking next to door, restaurants, cafe. Highly recommend!

Very good

The hotel is quite small, but well-equipped. The facilities are well maintained. It's been a pleasure to have a kettle in the room :) Also, the rooms had been cleaned on a daily basis.

I nearly lost my reservation because the credit card data could NOT be updated (for an unknown reason). Therefore, if you would like to stay in this hotel, pay in advance.

Not a great stay

Location was excellent. That is all that was good.

The receptionist was very pleasant and gave us advice on parking. However, he wasn't at his post when expected, leaving a young teenager ( possibly a daughter or granddaughter) who didn't speak English to answer a question. The safes were broken and despite the receptionist's assurance that they would be fixed, they weren't. The cleaning was non existant in the bathroom, beds not made properly ( quilt flung over bed in a haphazard fashion, pillows not put neatly on bed) bathroom bin not emptied. Room was very hot, no fan provided so sleeping with window open allowed mosquitoes in so we were badly bitten.

Disappointing

The location was good, close to the beach, restaurants and supermarket.

The bed was not good enough. There was not air-co, so we needed to leave the windows open and the noise was terrible, music, birds, trucks arriving at the supermarket at 5 a.m. They don't have breakfast. The TV is very small and old. The shower is very small and there is no light inside.

No soap or shower gel, no mosquitos net (and as a result a lot of mosquitoes inside), no iron, strange smell of food in the corridor
