"Disappointing Stay – Safety and Cleanliness Concerns"
The location was convenient and had good access to local amenities. The check-in process was straightforward. The apartment had potential to be a comfortable stay if properly maintained.
Cleanliness: The kitchen was not adequately cleaned, with dust and mold visible on the coving. Safety Concerns: Loose and wobbly plug sockets in kitchen, an overdue fuse box check (last serviced in 2018 and due again in 2023), and a missing carbon monoxide monitor made the stay feel unsafe. A further monitor was found but we needed to set it up! This was a bit of a red flag for me! Noise Issues: The boiler, located in the room, was very loud (48 decibels according to manufacturers), making it difficult to sleep. As it was a combi boiler every time someone in another apartment turned on the hot water the volume went up! Lack of Essentials: No soap was provided at the sink, and the vacuum cleaner was full with no replacement bags available - in fact looked like it had never been emptied. Comfort: The pillows were of poor quality and uncomfortable. Parking: The parking situation was inadequate and not well communicated. Extremely tight parking. Overall, the apartment needs significant maintenance and safety improvements before I would consider staying again.

Lovely light and airy room with good furnishings.
Parking is very limited there was none available so had to park away from the property. The bin in the kitchen hadn’t been emptied from the previous guests. The bathroom floor could do with a good clean as unf the towel rail leaks. The boiler is in the bedroom and some may find it a bit noisy esp at night.

Birthday getaway
Clean, lovely styling, comfortable, and had everything we needed. Ideal location for getting in to town and out and about in the peaks. Clear instructions for key collection, WiFi passwords and even shampoo provided! We had a wonderful stay.
The only thing was that the breakfast provided was delicious but not quite enough for 3 mornings worth for two people.
