Stylish & Spacious 3 Bed Apartment with Parking

Wow, we were so impressed with this apartment - not only was it excellently located for the park, restaurants and bars of Sheffield, but it also had an off-street parking space and very new feel about it. The rooms were spacious, the carpets were fairly new, the open plan living space was we extremely nice. We came with our dog, which doesn't moult, he did not go on the furniture - be aware that a dog that is used to jumping on sofas may not be welcome. The park nearby gave us plenty of opportunity to get him out for the toilet (as there is no garden, being the 1st and upper floor of a large house). The kitchen was good, I cooked up a chilli without too much effort (can opener, peeler, knives, pots etc all available). Easy to use appliances. Windows all easy to open - useful upstairs. One room stayed cool anyway (middle bedroom), but there were also good fans available (we were there during very warm weather). Lovely showers, which had soap dispensers inside. Great having a toilet at entry level too. Slight kerfuffle over the alarm, note that it is immediately on your right as you come through the front door - I tried putting the code in the wrong panel (my fault) but the very helpful lady Beth disarmed it and pointed out where it was via Booking comms, so no harm done. We honestly had such a great stay, we would happily come again. Some recommendations- visit the Botanical Gardens, and also walk through Endcliffe Park, Bingham Park and onwards to Forge Dam - makes for a lovely 2 hour walk there and back and the cafe at the end does superb snacks, ice cream etc. We also recommend Borgo, very authentic Italian food.

The only suggestions I would have would be to have some more glasses (wine, flutes etc) as there was a rather odd and small selection of old fashioned glasses, most of which didn't hold much liquid. Also note that the beds are all singles, pushed together for doubles, which is not as comfy as a double. Appreciate two bedrooms having that makes sense to allow flexibility to make it a twin or double, but it seemed to be all three bedrooms like that. Not big things at all, as said, we were immensely impressed and very happy! :-)

Outstanding location with good facilities. Urban Pitta well worth a visit for a quick bite.

Mattresses on some of the beds may need updating.

Nice apartment. Well decorated and appointed. Everything you need and Ideal for a short break. Lots of nice independent restaurants and shops nearby.

Parking for one car and tricky to find spaces if more than one car. We couldn’t find a space nearby for the second car.
