Beautifully Restored Barn, fantastic views, peaceful, WIFI, close facilties

Gorgeous house in beautiful surroundings equipped with everything you need. We have stayed in several places in Italy and this is by far the best. Cannot recommend it highly enough.

We had a fantastic stay in La Vinca for 14 days. We were 2 families med children (age 4, 7, 8 and 11), and we really enjoyed the house and pool. The pool has a deept of 1,40 all over. The friendly owner Ilario welcomed us at the house, when we arrived. And after a few days he came with a basket of fresh vegetables, very nice :-) Right next to this house, the owner has another house, where 2 other families stayed (friends of us).

A fabulous holiday - La Vinca is a lovely property. Well maintained, super clean, well equipped with a great pool. Ilario was friendly, welcoming and helpful. Highlights of the holiday - cycling in Lucca, swimming in the river, classic car driving - aswell as the bigger sights such as Pisa and Florence

Ilario, the owner of La Vinca was so kind to us throughout our stay. He brought us a huge tray of fresh vegetables from his garden and even offered to drop us at the station when we didn't have a car. He was incredibly friendly and warm when he welcomed us to the property but then left us to enjoy our time secluded and completely in private, which was fantastic. The house is very spacious and had everything we needed - all to a high standard. The pool, garden and amazing view were everything we were hoping for. I would recommend staying at La Vinca to friends and family for sure. Thanks to Ilario and to the helpful people who handled our online booking.

Vinca is probably the most beautiful and well appointed vacation property we have rented so far. The pictures on the website dont give any justice to the real beauty of the setting. The house has beautifull and well manicured gardens ,infinity pool and the views are simply spectacular. Swimming with the views of the Garfagnana valley is what enchanted us the most. The property is very clean and well outfitted with everything you might need and exceeds expectations. For anybody that loves cooking, this house comes with a very well equipped kitchen. Spacious house, tastefully decorated, beautiful covered outdoor patio, built-in stone barbeque, beautifull garden, infinity pool, stunning views are among the feautures we liked the most about this house. The property is ideally located in the Gardagnana region for day trips to Lucca by train for example or to the coast line in Massa Marittima. Also well located to shorter visits to local winery, (few km away) castles , and marble quarry (15 km away) which we highly reccomend. Our host, Ilario, is genuinily kind and available for whatever you might need and the best reference for any piece information you might have on the area. The basket of organic vegetables he offered us, freshly picked from his garden was a true deligt. We defenetly reccomend this vacation rental and wish to be able to visit again.

The villa is in a secluded spot, with great views over a valley. The house was spotless, well-equipped, and very cozy. The owner welcomed us and was very helpful throughout our stay -- without being intrusive. We also appreciated the carefully prepared information about local shops, restaurants, etc. Overall, a great experience.

lovely spacious bedrooms rooms, nicely decorated and furnished throughout. the rooms looked and felt clean. A good selection of glasses and crockery to suit all wining and dining occasions. The pool is stunning and not too deep, kept really clean at all times. would like to have a few more sun loungers especially as there were 8 of us. the garden is kept immaculate and the grounds are well maintained with plenty of space. We thought that Poggio would have more facilities, ie bakery, small grocery shop and a few restaurants but this was not the case, however you don't have to travel too far ( Camporgiano) to find all of these. Ilario and Maria were always on hand if any problems. they were both friendly and helpful and looked after us well. thank you.

We were a group of 8 family members and we all amazed with how beautiful & peaceful La Vinca is. We saw the photos online but experiencing it in person was just amazing. The house is beautifully maintained and is equipped with everything you need. The property; surrounding fruit trees, gardens and pool are also well maintained and manicured. It's always been a dream to stay in a Tuscan farm house and be immersed in the beauty of it all, and La Vinca did not disappoint - in fact it exceeded our expectations. It is exactly out of a story book or film. The owner, Ilario, is very friendly and came round on our first day to introduce himself. He came round a few days later to see if everything was still ok but otherwise we had the privacy to enjoy his property without interruption. We have family who live in Lucca who came to visit us for the day during our stay at La Vinca, and they were absolutely amazed with this property. Ilario and his wife have done a stellar job! If you love dogs, there are 2 very friendly dogs that come to visit every evening from one of the surrounding farms. They love playing catch :) Some of our most memorable experiences from our trip to Tuscany were spent drinking our morning coffee on the patio at La Vinca over looking the valley, and enjoying delicious Italian wines and foods in the evening in the same spot. It truly was a dream come true and highly recommend this property. There are also beautiful towns within driving distance; the Saturday market in Barga is a must for fresh local foods. And Castelnuovo is a great little town to explore, eat, drink wine & do a spot of shopping. Tip: make sure to stop at one of the bigger grocery stores on your way to La Vinca to stock up on food, tea, coffee, laundry detergent, wine, prosecco etc. because once you get to La Vinca you won't want to leave! :)

This "Agrotourist" house, located on an old farm property, was very close to what we'd hoped for from the reviews. It was clean and generally well appointed....(could have used some toilet paper on arrival for tired visitors arriving after dark?) But other wise a great place to relax. The pool is gorgeous....the grounds full of lovely fruit covered trees. Instructions to get there were a bit vague but we found it. Be prepared to have to drive for food....and stock up. The care taker is delightful and helpful. Local mountain driving was fun...tons of great old towns to explore. Easy access to Lucca and Florence for day trips. I think in two weeks we covered most of the recommended ones. Thanks for a lovely time. Will definitely recommend you!

The property and location was far more better than described and seen from pictures. We were very satisfied with owner support. I certainly recommend La Vinca to my friends and come back soon!

È stata una vacanza splendida, lontani dal caldo umido, dal caos, immersi nel verde con ogni confort a disposizione. La piscina, ad uso esclusivo, ha coronato il nostro soggiorno di divertimento

Das mit viel Liebe restaurierte Haus einfach zum Wohlfühlen, samt Garten und Pool einfach nur zum genießen!!! In herrlicher Lage mit Blick auf das Serchio-Tal fühlt man sich in Mitten schönster Natur und ebensolcher Ruhe!!! Und ganz liebe Vermieter, herzlich im Umgang und immer mit vornehmer Zurückhaltung !

Wir waren mit der gesamten Familie dort. Die Zimmer und das Haus sind liebevoll eingerichtet, die drei Badezimmer sehr sinnvoll und Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet. Der Vermieter ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Ein Grill im Garten beschert wunderbare Abende. Kleine Bemerkung : Das Haus liegt herrlich im Wald etwas abgeschieden von der kleinen Ortschaft. Die Strecke zum Supermarkt ist schon eine kleine Herausforderung für Magen und Auto (viele enge Kurven im Wald und enge Dörfer). Aber der Ausblick entschädigt für alles. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder.

Wunderschöner Urlaub in einer traumhaften Landschaft und einer authentischen Villa mit guter Ausstattung und vorallem einem schönen Pool mit sehr gepflegten und trotzdem natürlichem Garten.

Unsere Erfahrung war einwandfrei und die Kommunikation mit der Agentur tuscan restreats war tadellos und sehr serviceorientiert, innerhalb weniger Zeit bekam ich eine Antwort auf alle Fragen

Es ist ein wunderschönes Haus mit einem tollen, sehr sauberen Pool. Der Pool ist eingezäunt und der Vermieter sehr nett.

Zeer voeg mooie woning rustig gelegen met veel privacy.

This is Toscana but something different compared to the Siena-Volterra-San Gimignano area. The mountains are higher, it is greener and temperatures in summer are lower. This makes good potential for your holiday. The house is nice, well taken care of and has a lovely garden and pool area. No A/C but low night temperatures makes it unnecessary. The owner, Ilario, is a lovely man that takes care of guests, garden and all other things concerning the house. He even brought us a basket of his own vegetables from the nearby garden. Perfect! It is possible to visit Lucca and Firenze over the day but it will take you some time. Check google maps for travelling times. In every aspect a perfect spot for your holiday.

Wir hatten traumhafte 14 Tage im Spätsommer 2018. Die Anlage ist sehr gepflegt, das Haus und die Küche sind sehr gut ausgestattet. Der Pool ist groß und sauber. Der Hausherr ist sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Man sollte bedenken, dass es zu den größeren Ausflugszielen (Pisa, Modena, 5 Terre, Lucca etc) eine abenteuerliche Fahrerei durch die Berge ist ist. Wir hatten damit aber keine Probleme. Einkaufmöglichkeiten gibt es gute in Castelnuovo di Garfagnana (ca. 15min). Ein Bahnhof ist direkt im Dorf, den hatten wir aber aufgrund der Zugpreise nicht in betracht gezogen.
