The effort having been put into things that could be done, within the property's limitations, enabled it to exceed expectations. by a long way.
It didn't make me think like that... but set me up for a great time. Not seeing in criticism mode, even made Portslade itself into a great centre to work from, having all I wanted like an excellent Indian takeaway, to an Aldi and everything else, just around the corner from Clifton House.

Room was very spacious, plenty of tea and coffee, well-furnished with plenty of sockets. Security was very good. Don't let the outside put you off, our room was perfect. Very convenient for Portslade station.
Controls for the shower were very stiff. We knew there was no lift so expected the stairs.

The room was a good size bed was comfy and bathroom was a good size and shower was a lovely rain shower bottles of water a nice touch
I didn’t realise it was on the main road so a bit noisy . The milk for coffee was out of date and wasn’t the darkest room due to outside lights from below
