The Gather Inn

Exceptional 4 bed room with an ensuite shower. Clean and tidy. Perfect to crash without worrying much about the room or the situation. Reasonable price and located at a good distance from city, not too far, yet not too close to the crowd. Perfect for a stay.

The bathroom did not have a lock, which wasnt a major issue since we adjusted well. Would prefer to have a lock since there are girls and boys staying together.

Convenient location for our plans and offered a slightly cheaper option than other hotels in the area. The staff were fantastic- friendly and helpful when we were wanting to arrive early and flex things about!

While the rooms were very clean, and staff fantastic, the rooms did feel quite tired. The wall I our room- right at the head of the bed, had peeling paint, which is not so nice to wake up to.

The staff wee really friendly, and the rooms really clean.

We weren't aware we had shared facilities, bathroom/toilet, but it dint bother us they were really clean and we didnt see anyone else

The staff were pleasant and the room was spacious. Two of the beds were comfy and we slept ok.

There was an unpleasant musty smell in the room, possibly to do with the grubby carpet that desperately needs changing. The mattress on the one bed, there were three, was not for fit purpose and the base was filthy. I just didn't think it was clean enough all round tbh, the plughole in the sink in one of the shared bathrooms needed dealing with as well. The tables out the front didn't seem to have been cleaned for quite a while either, they were sticky and dusty. It's a shame as it could be a really nice place, and these little things are easy to rectify.
