    We are an elderly couple and came from Alaska and wanted a view of the English Channel and the beach. There is road noise but we preferred that than the city view. Their breakfast is definitely worthwhile. Choose from the buffet and/or order from the menu. There is Tai food and hamburger menu in the building. We ask the desk to order us a taxi to go to Heathrow which worked great. The hotel is on convenient bus lines and we really enjoyed eating at Rockwater Restaurant on the beach within walking distance. This is a smaller hotel with personable service!! Very nice for us.

    Very friendly and helpful staff. We didn't try the bar, restaurant or room service, but all looked good and reasonably priced. The room and bathroom were good quality with lots of lighting options and power points. Do be prepared for some noise from other rooms, but this is the same in many hotels and few are as sensitive as me! Breakfast was served by really friendly, kind and considerate staff; the food was the usual, but very generous and you certainly wouldn't leave hungry or thirsty - do include the breakfast in your stay it is worth it. A point to note is the parking is limited and so I would recommend arriving as close to check-in as possible, (parking in Brighton and Hove is stupidly expensive so this is a real bonus!) N.B. If you have a very large vehicle it may be a problem getting into the rear car park.

    Room was clean and had absolutely everything that we might need. Bed was nice and so pillows.

    Hotel is very dated. Facilities are old and in dire need of refurbishment. Breakfast was average with limited choices. I expected a Best Western Hotel to have a fridge and pressing Iron. It wasn't available. You had to request and wait in line to get them. However, the location was excellent with the Hotel opposite the Brighton Pier. Overall customer experience was below average
