TAXIs/CARS CANNOT DRIVE TO THE DOORWAY. There is a short road and about 15 steps up you must walk to get to it, SO YOU MUST GIVE THE TAXI SERVICE THE ADDRESS OF THE RESTAURANT ON THE NEARBY STREET AND NOT THE ONE LISTED ON BOOKING. COM!!! The restaurant is Sxolarxeio Tavern, address- 14 Tripodon St, Athina 105 58. You walk up the road on the left side of the restaurant which has a hopscotch painted on it, go up the steps at the end, then turn left and look for the house #8 on the wall on your left. The studio is less than 100 steps from the restaurant altogether.
The house #8 on the wall is for two different doors, one on the right and one on the left. George studio is the one on the left. The landlord will send you clear pictures and instructions on the day you’re arriving about this and more.
The only other SURPRISE is how far you must go down a narrow spiral staircase- 3 flights- to get into the courtyard where the studio is. Luckily there is a large, functional electric dumbwaiter at the top to fit your suitcases in so you don’t have to carry them down the spiral staircase. (It is not for people…just luggage.) Once you find the door to the studio which is toward the rear of the courtyard on the right, the studio itself is wonderful!

Le lieu est à 2 pas de l'Acropole et juste en dessous d'un parc pour enfants très vert.
C'est un quartier sûr, très calme et proche de tout.
Il y a un ascenseur juste pour les bagages ( l'escalier est très pentu).
L'appartement est en contre-bas, il y a peu de lumière naturelle car les fenêtres sont opacifiées. Le sommier du seul lit est une planche de bois, on a vraiment souffert. L'escalier pour descendre à l'appartement est très en colimaçon, très pentu. Il y avait une bouteille d'eau au frigo, mais remplie d'eau du robinet. Il faut prévoir du cash pour le paiement.

De defecten in het huisje. De douchekop moest je vasthouden , toiletbril zat los, niet alle stopcontacten werkten, slecht bed, lawaai ‘s nachts door de afzuiging. De communicatie met de host was niet altijd duidelijk door taalbarrière.

La ubicación del alojamiento es inmejorable. En pleno centro de Placa, la zona más turística y concurrida de Atenas, pero sin que eso conllevara ruidos molestos durante la noche.
El alojamiento es una única estancia, pues la habitación de matrimonio no tiene pared divisoria con el salón. En este último hay un sofá cama de dos plazas, junto a la cocina. El alojamiento está en general bien, pero desde luego NO tiene un acceso cómodo. El patio es básicamente un agujero de dos pisos de altura al que se accede mediante una escala de caracol que evidentemente no es apta para personas con movilidad reducida o vértigos. Pero esto no fue el problema en nuestro caso.
En general se nota cierta dejadez y desinterés por el estado del alojamiento: el enchufe de la tele que no funciona y que han intentado arreglar con un adaptador, la tapa del water que está rota y han intentado arreglar con pegamento, o la cortina de la ventana que tiene la cuerda rota y no se puede abrir...
Pero lo peor es la propia posición del alojamiento. Es un semisótano que, por la pendiente descendiente del patio exterior, termina teniendo una entrada normal. Pero esto significa que la ventana del cuarto, que tiene la cortina rota, se abre directamente al suelo del patio exterior. El resto de aperturas al exterior (el baño inexplicablemente no tiene ventana) dan todas al mismo lado, lo cual hace que no circule aire por la estancia (tampoco circula por el patio porque está en el fondo del agujero). El resultado es que en el alojamiento hace un calor horroroso. El aire acondicionado está mal ubicado, enfriando exageradamente el cuarto de matrimonio y nada el salón.
