Great for a family getaway

Location was great for what we needed.

Very steep stairs. Only one pillow on beds. Sofa was stained.

Very handy for city

Convenient for city centre. Quiet street. Comfortable beds. Arrived early and we were quickly let in as the cleaners had gone. It was very helpful.

Only one bathroom and shower. We were going to have 6 in the house, but 2 cancelled. It worked OK having one bathroom with 4 of us, but any more may have been an issue. This is the only reason I didn't give it 10.

Satisfactory, good value for money

Good location for our needs, bedroom sizes were adequate.

The entrance smelled of Marijuhana. Grubbly & stained sofas in sitting area. Rear areas- no curtains/blinds which felt inhospitable and the external windows seriously needed cleaning

Very comfortable home.

This is a very comfortable property with plenty of space for all 9 people. The kitchen is big and spacious. The dining room is bi. Beds are very comfortable. Heating is superb and easily adjustable. The property is near the town centre. Nice short cab ride.

There is only one bathroom for 9 people. I have informed the owner that there is a possibly to put a toilet under the stairs so hopefully this is something they can look into. There is only parking for one car. The road is narrow and parking is a challenge. There is street parking on the other side of the road but again its tight.

Enjoyable stay

Lovely property in a quiet street. Comfortable beds and clean throughout. Great lounge and sofa. Friendly hosts and good communication. Definitely recommend!

Door code was slightly temperamental - we worried about gaining access a couple of times.

Fantastic and relaxing

The dining room window and kitchen windows were bare, just a suggestion to cover the windows for privacy.

Other then the points I made it was a comfortable stay and we were able to work around the issues . We would stay again

Plenty of room inside . Beds were comfortable and bedrooms were nice , good shower . lounge and dining area were nice as well . Well heated . The photos below are of family who weren’t staying who came over for a meal just to be clear 🙂

The kitchen needs a spruce up especially the cooker . I always clean any kitchen I use before I use it anyway . It was almost impossible to read the knobs and it would help to leave instructions on how to use the oven since working it out when you can’t read the knobs is very difficult . Six black bin bags right outside the kitchen door had been got into by foxes or something and there was rubbish over the garden . We left our bin bags inside by the back door so as not to add to the mess . Nothing that can’t be fixed with a bit of attention to detail and it didn’t spoil our stay .

Great location close to city centre with bus stop at the end of street. Convenience store just down the road and nice pub(Crow's Nest) a short walk away.

Couldn't find fault, only thing I could suggest to improve is maybe a full length mirror upstairs somewhere and maybe and extension lead in back bedroom as the sockets are at the far end of the bed

Sam was very helpful with everything. House looked newly renovated and had more than what we needed. We were only staying to sleep a couple nights but if we needed to cook and eat at the property we would've had no problem.

Beds could be comfier. Some of the mattresses felt a bit old.

Disappointing from Booking.com. The house is not well cared for and obviously no one replaces broken glasses.

heating thermostat not working, tv remote control on/off button not working, no local info,curtain missing a ring, carpet looked new but seemed to have burns all over it, one bed had a bare mattress with a thinner mattress, with a cover, on top and both pillows had no protectors and were a bit smelly, not enough comfy seats in lounge (4 adults and 2 children), only one wine glass and a load of games to play and not one was complete. The dining room had two chairs with very worn leather and one of them had sponge breaking off and also there was no window covering at the window. The road is so narrow and only has one vehicle entrance/exit. Once in you have to reverse out.

Brilliant house not a lot of space for parking tho and the garden to the rear of the house is really bad and is in need

The space inside the house is brilliant especially when you have 3 kids the size of the cooker is great could do with new knobs so you can see what your cooking on

I would say the outside space small parking space and the rear garden no where near up to scratch
