Clipper Cove is a new luxury 5 star and Gold Award rated, beach side development with stunning, 180 degree panoramic sea views at Praa Sands, a beautiful south coast surfing beach. We are offering the penthouse apartment fully equipped and furnished to a very high standard featuring oak and leather. With 3 bedrooms, sleeping 7 plus a cot and 3 bathrooms, (2 en suite), it is ideal for discerning families. There is private secure parking for 2 cars a videophone entry system and a lift. It is 100 meters from the beautiful sandy beach with restaurant, bar, shop and cafe facilities on the beach. Clipper Cove is perfect for the active families with surfing, kayaking, diving, climbing, coastal walks, bird watching and golf all at the village, so, for a while at least, you can leave the car in it's secure parking place. When you do feel the need to explore, Praa Sands is central to most of the best locations in Cornwall (see travel distances section) with the famous St. Michael's Mount and its causeway at Marazion only 3 miles away. Three Poldark filming locations within 20 to 30 minutes drive.

I had walked past Praa Sands when doing the SW Coast Path and resolved to bring family for a weeks break. That beach is perfect for a 4 year old. There is plenty to do in the area, even if the weather doesn’t play ball. A very relaxing break.

Had a short stay with my family, very good communication, we were very impressed by how well managed, clean and well decorated the apartment is! It is located in a great location in Penzance and a short drive away to many popular landmarks. The hospitality completely enhanced our stay, it made it a memorable holiday - the beach view is so beautiful too, we can’t wait to be back

This beautiful penthouse apartment ticked all the boxes for our family holiday to Praa Sands. With spectacular sea views, it was comfortably appointed and generously provisioned with a breakfast hamper and a collection of local goodies on arrival. The attention to detail was second to none, and it felt like a home away from home for our two-week stay. A great base to explore western Cornwall and only a short drive to the remarkable St Michaels Mount. We hope to be back.

This was a birthday present and what a gift it was. The well turned out immaculate penthouse exceeded all expectations and the whole stay was amazing from start to finish. Everything we needed was taken care of and we felt the whole experience was fabulous. It even provided a spectacular view of the storm we had for two days where we could just sit and watch it develop over the sea. Good base for local walks and venturing on to the Lizard and over to St Ives. Wouldn’t hesitate to come back again.

the property is fully equipped. The internet was a nightmare from day 1. we had to wait for the BT engineer on 2 occasions to let them in to the property to get it sorted. we arrived on the Sunday and it was eventually fixed on the Thursday.

The Penthouse was the perfect accommodation for our beach holiday. Georgina and Tim are wonderful hosts answering any queries very quickly. Praa Sands is a lovely beach and the access down from the main road and parking at the apartment was very easy. When we arrived the apartment was immaculately clean and so well equipped. The view from the picture window is stunning. The beach is just moments away and the outdoor drying facilities at the flats for wet suits etc. are really useful. Great access to coastal paths. I would not hesitate to book this accommodation again.

Just got back from a lovely week at this property. Communication before hand was great and cleanliness on arrival was excellent. The penthouse was a great size, larger than we thought from the photos. Quiet location, but within easy reach of any facilities you may need within about 15 minutes drive. 5 minutes walk to the beautiful beach of Praa Sands. Also within easy reach of lots of places to visit, The Minack Theatre being one of our highlights. Gorgeous views from the penthouse, lovely to just sit and watch.

We had a wonderful time at The Penthouse. Large and clean rooms with excellent equipment. Very nice living room with a beautiful view of the sea and it is a short distance to the beach. Each of our 2 older children had a room of their own. 5 days before our arrival Georgina contacted us and sent us information about the accommodation. On our arrival on Sunday evening a basket with newspaper, bread, jam, cookies and milk, butter in the refrigerator awaited us. Perfect! We felt very comfortable.

As a family already living in Cornwall, we looked long and hard for a property for us to celebrate my husbands 50th birthday. We chose the Penthouse mainly for practical reasons. It is easy to access from the A30 but more importantly, it was big enough to accommodate our very tall sons! It is not always easy to find places where tall people can fit in Cornwall. Being someone who comes to this area in a work capacity almost every week, I was familiar with the area and knew what to expect, but even I was surprised how very peaceful it was. The building has several flats but we did not hear or see anyone other than the odd person to say hello to. The Penthouse itself is very well equipped with everything a family could want. The kitchen has everything you could possibly want and knowing this in advance, enabled me to cater for a family with difficult dietary needs. The freezer was a great help. The views from the Penthouse windows gave us so much enjoyment as the weather was everything, so provided us with ever changing seascapes. You can never tire of looking out and there is a chair positioned in prime location for this. Also the binoculars provided gave us much joy, so we didn't really use the TV or other modern entertainment available, but it is all there, should you want it. I even got up in the middle of the night to see the moon shine in the sea. Absolutely magical! The owner, Georgina, has been fantastic throughout the whole experience and went out of her way communicating with me, as we experienced some technical problems. Louise, the housekeeper, who met us on our arrival, was also very kind and made us feel very welcome. I really appreciated the flowers and the box of goodies left for us. We spent out time walking on the beach, which is completely free from the kind of plastic commerce one often finds on beaches. There is a cafe but being a grown up family, we went to the pub. It is rare to find a pub directly on the beach in Cornwall, so this was a real treat. The boys played golf at the nearby Caravan site. Nine holes cost £15 which might sound a little expensive but every hole apparently had a stunning view and the course is well kept. We took a picnic to Loe Bar and walked to Portleven from there. We also drove to Portcurnow and visited The Minack Theatre, which is a real gem and finally we went to St. Michaels Mount and had a great day. I would, and am already, recommending the Penthouse to everyone I come across.

We have just returned from a wonderful holiday in this beautiful apartment. Everything you could possibly need is catered for in this accommodation and the finishing touches are outstanding. It was a pleasure to deal with the Owner, Georgina, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this property to anybody who wants the perfect holiday. We loved the view of the beach and spent many hours just exploring the area.

My family and I have just returned from a week's holiday staying at Clipper's Cove. The apartment is beautiful and caters for all your needs. The beach and café are within a short walking distance and well worth a visit. Praa Sands is well positioned and gave easy access to the wonderful sites that Cornwall has to offer. The people are friendly and welcoming. There are lots of good restaurants and I would definitely recommend Rick Steins at Porthleven . The owner, Georgina is lovely and ensures that you have a wonderful experience while staying at Clippers Cove.
