Memorable experience in Lyon- France.

The stairs leading to the apartment may be cleaned. They were dirty throughout my stay. The apartment was clean and comfortable.

The feeling that I could call the Mr. Daniel at any time and could help. It was peaceful and comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay with my colleague.

Worst accommodation we have experienced- will battle on for full refund!

This is not a hotel with onsite minimarket and spa and wellness centre as described but a group of seedy rooms in horrible corridors up a very grubby and poorly lit stairway which rendered the accommodation unsafe. Our party booked three rooms for three nights. Our ‘one bedroom superior apartment’ comprised one large room which smelt heavily of smoke, had a very uncomfortable bed with cheap and torn sheets and urine marks around the toilet. We paid 740 euros upfront for this! The managers then sent a video which we could not open and on contacting them through booking.com to complain, they took the view that we had seen and accepted the room. We tried to email and it bounced and each time we phoned, we were cut off. We arrived late and had to stay one night but our party moved out and found alternative accommodation for the remaining two nights. We are currently in negotiations for a full refund and will be in communication with the Lyon Hotel authorities as the standard if safety is very poor and the accommodation generally was totally misrepresented. We would without hesitation agree that this is the worst accommodation we have stayed in and that the most certainly did not reflect value for money. The description also states that horse riding and other activities can be arranged - good luck with that!

Poor

The apartment had a very strong offensive odor/stale water smell to the extent that we had to sleep with the windows open. We should have notified the owners that night, but we were exhausted from extra travel due to the public worker strike and the extra travel caused by a cancellation, and we were also on foot with heavy luggage - with ski equipment. The contact person told us that they could have moved us had we notified them earlier, but the adjacent unit was occupied, and we could not have gone back out for another walk with our heavy luggage (apartment is more akin to an Airbnb, not a hotel, and there were two units total through one entrance door - not sure where else there might be other options (?)). The foul odor was ONLY in the apartment, not the surrounding area or building. Check with contact people about the odor before renting. They believe it to be a city sewage repair that is currently in progress. But again, it was only in the unit, not the building or on the street level. Otherwise - it's a really nice apartment.

I would not recommend this apartment.

Location

I would not recommend it to anyone. The spa need to maintain in good condition that I had a problem for the last night using it uncontrollably spraying the water all over the bath and dining area like a fountain. The staffs were suggested to get an extra towels and a hairdryer to blow dry my clothes before I checkout next morning. They have only offered an extra hour for my late checkout from 11am to noon cause they needed to clean the room for the next customer. There was a cockroach in the kitchen. The dining table is broken, wobbling and rotating with very high chair which cannot adjust and not being able to eat at the usual level. The mattress is not flatten that the one sleeping close to the wall who will gradually slant towards to the other when you are turning.

The room was clean, nicely decorated and well equipped. The bed was comfortable. But the common area of the building ( stairs and corridor were not welcoming at all and there were a very unpleasant smell that persisted in the room even with open windows.

Happy with apartment

The location was good. 1, 5km walk into the centre of Lyon. The train station is 250m from the apartment and a train runs 15 minutes to the airport. The kitchen is small but has everything needed.

The area was a little noisy, and so were the neighbours, but it did quiten down early.

One of the best staying

I totally recommend as really clean and comfortable and very warm welcoming of the owner! You feel yourself as a VIP warm welcome guest! But there’s one thing-cameras. The door opens with a codes and in front the door to the 2 studios there is a camera. Me, I was afraid to leave. But all was super! I recommend 100%

Très fonctionnel et bien rangé. Personnel très sympathique et très arrangeant aucun soucis avec ça.

Le prix est à notre sens, un peu excessif. Le gros du prix est clairement dû au Jacuzzi. Il fonctionne mais fait un bruit énorme quand il est en route. De ce fait il nous a fait office de grande baignoire plus que de Jacuzzi.. c'est dommage.

Apesar da entrada n ser fenomenal existe um pouco de tudo a volta, supermercados, comida etc o quarto era confortável mas faltou limpeza e organização e talvez uma visita do dono antes de alugar.

Suporte do jacuzzi partido, candeeiro funcionava partido, pó por todo o chão e falta de água quente durante a noite.

Die Lage nahe vom Bahnhof Lyon Part Dieu.

Eine Kalerlake im Zimmer. Es roch nach Rauch im Zimmer. Das Bett war sehr kurz (180cm). Im Whirlpool gab es kein warmes Wasser. Die Rollläden liessen sich nicht schliessen. Duschkabinentür war nur sehr mühsam zu schliessen. Lärm/Musik im Nebenzimmer auch morgens um 2 noch. Mühsame Kommunikation nach der Buchung via Booking über zusätzliche Verträge und Kaution die man noch separat unterschreiben und zahlen muss. Kein entgegenkommen des Betreibers nach Schilderung des Aufenthalts.

Tout simplement parfait !

J'ai beaucoup aimé la qualité de la literie (je veux la même à la maison, les draps étaient super doux) ; le spa ; l'accueil, la réactivité, la gentillesse et la disponibilité des responsables de l'établissement.

Franchement, j'ai beau chercher et je ne trouve rien à redire à mon séjour dans cet établissement. Tout était parfait dans les moindres détails.
